SURESH KUMAR RG, VINOTH KUMAR R Assistant Professor, Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry, India Assistant Professor, Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry, India
Abstract: Cloud computing is a model for facilitating expedient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of computing resources (e.g., networks, storage, servers, services, and applications) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider communication. This cloud model endorses availability and is composed of five essential characteristics (On-demand self-service, Resource pooling, Broad network access, Measured Service, Rapid elasticity). Also research communities such as AMO (Atomic, Molecular and Optical) physics research, Biology, and Neuroscience are investigating the relevance of Clouds, with their strengths and weaknesses in scientific environments. In this paper we will illustrate that in scientific environments there are some certain areas where cloud services are supporting the challenging e-Science requirements for virtual communities, resource discovery and dynamic service, resource federation and identity, and access to data catalogues. The Grid technology has actively contributed to address some of these issues, thus we propose to reuse existing Cloud services with Grid technology, experiences and production services, including standardization. In this paper we will provide strategy of how to apprehend the multi-cloud associated deployments based on a survey of existing Grid technologies in context expanding it with lessons learned gained in scientific environments. The contribution spotlight on the areas of data, compute, security and information. We will also show possible benefits that scientists can gain by adopting proposed solutions in cloud-based deployments.

Abstract: This paper deals with the latest technology called the Security of Vulnerable Wireless Network Systems & Its Attacks of Jamming. In this we are going to describe the security problems of wireless networks and the Jamming attacks of wireless networks and the jamming attacks which are occurred in network. Network is a group or System of interconnected people or things which are used for passing the information. We have two types of networks. They are Wired network & wireless network. Now we are working on Wireless networking. The Nature of Wireless medium has a chance to get easily attacked by intentional interference attacks which is called as Jamming. Then this intentional interference with wireless transmission can be used as launch pad for mounting Denial-Of-Service attacks on wireless networks. In this we are having some important methods to develop the security. We analyze the security of our methods and evaluate their computational & communication overhead.

Abstract: Lung cancer is the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells that start off in one or both lungs usually in the cells that line the air passages. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States, among both men and women. The two main types are small cell lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. These types are diagnosed based on how the cells look under a microscope. People who smoke have the greatest risk of lung cancer. The risk of lung cancer increases with the length of time and number of cigarettes they have smoked. If they quit smoking, even after smoking for many years, they can significantly reduce his/her chances of developing lung cancer. In this work, we apply classification techniques on a dataset of lung cancer patients based on smoking and non-smoking people.

An Ameliorated Partitioning Clustering Algorithm for Large Data Sets
RAGHAVI CHOUHAN, ABHISHEK CHAUHAN MTech Scholar, CSE department, NRI Institute of Information Science and Technology, Bhopal, India Assistant Professor, CSE department, NRI Institute of Information Science and Technology, Bhopal, India
Abstract: K-medoid clustering algorithm is broadly used for various practical applications. Original K-medoid algorithm use to take initial centroids and medoids arbitrarily that bears on the resulting clusters and it leads to unstable and empty clusters which are meaningless and also amount of iterations can be rather high so K-Medoid is not a substitute for big databases because of its computational complexity. Also the original k-means algorithm is computationally costlier and involves time relative to the product of the number of data items, number of clusters and the number of iterations, the time complexity of K-means is O (tkn) where t is the amount of iterations. Though K-means algorithm usually leads to better outcome, it does not scale well and is not time efficient. Ameliorated k-Medoid clustering algorithm will have the accuracy more than the original one. The new idea for K-medoid algorithm overcomes the deficiency of existing medoid. It initially computes the initial centroids k as per the necessity of user and then provides improved and efficient cluster with no sacrifice on accuracy. It generates steady clusters in order to get better accuracy. It also minimizes the mean square error and improves the quality of clustering, reduces the number of iterations and works on reducing time complexity. The improved k-Medoid clustering algorithm will have accuracy greater than the original one.

Multiple Correlation Coefficient Approach for VM Migration
SABINA SINGH Assistant Professor, Computer Science Engineering Department, Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Punjab. India
Abstract: In this research paper we have extended maximum correlation algorithm for detection of overload thresholds so that undue migration does not occur and the fault tolerance mechanism efficiently works. The improved/extended algorithm basically not only conducts correlation analysis but correlation with path analysis. By doing this we are able to find grain level fault tolerance as the overload may take multiple paths while processing multiple workload task. The result shows that by doing correlation with path analysis we are able to reduce host, VM reallocation time and able to avoid undue migration.

Abstract: In this paper we describe, the Secure databases has become increasingly crucial in all application areas. Database encryption is an important mechanism to secure databases from attacks and unauthorised access. The Transposition-Substitution-Folding-Shifting encryption algorithm (TSFS) is a symmetric database encryption algorithm that is a expansion technique to provide high security: it improves the efficiency of query execution time by encrypting the sensitive data only. However, it applies merely for the alphanumeric characters and numeric keys. This paper extends the data set of the TSFS encryption algorithm to take special characters as well, and corrects substitution and shifting processes by providing more than one modulo factor and four 16-arrays respectively in order to avoid the error that occurs in decryption steps. Experiment results show that enhanced TSFS encryption algorithm outperforms Data Encryption Standard algorithm (DES) and Advanced Encryption Standard algorithm (AES) in terms of query execution time and database added size. This algorithm will be support special characters and provide high security. If data will be secure than nobody can hack data.

Comparison of Text Watermarking Approaches with the Proposed Approach Based On Encryption Techniques Used For Creating Watermarks
PRABHJOT KAUR CHEEMA, KAMALJIT KAUR Student, Mtech(CSE), Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Sirhind, India Assistant Professor, Computer Science Department, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Sirhind, India
Abstract: Due to advancement in science new technologies are emerging at a fast pace, so there is need of security while transferring data files or documents. Many techniques like steganography, hashing, cryptography and access control have been used so far. Watermarking is one of efficient technique used these days. Watermarking can be used in the areas of images, text, audio and videos. Text Watermarking is basically used for copyright protection of text documents. There are different methods used to create watermarks for the text documents. Syntactic, semantic, structural and natural language watermarking approaches are used for this purpose. Most of the languages like English, Turkish, Chinese and Arabic language text are using these techniques. Natural language watermarking is implemented to make watermarks using simple English language rules. It is a simple method and easy to implement. In the proposed technique components of English language like noun, pronoun, model verbs and conjunctions of user’s choice along with author id are used to create watermark of user’s choice. Moreover, encryption techniques RSA and AES and hybrid algorithm of both are applied to encrypt watermark and to enhance its security level to protect it from tampering attacks and to prove the most robust algorithm.
Fundamental study of a non-linear capacitor to use it in non-linear transmission line models
SALMAN RAJU TALLURI, SUNIL VIDHYA BHOOSHAN Asst.Professor, Dept. Electronics and Communication Engineering, JUIT, Solan, India Professor, Dept. Electronics and Communication Engineering, JUIT, Solan, India
Abstract: The theme of this paper is to analyze a non linear capacitor so that this non linear device can be used in realizing the non linear transmission line to observe the dispersion characteristics. In a linear capacitor, the charge stored on the electrodes and the potential difference between them is a linear function. In this paper, a quadratic relation is considered between charge and the potential difference. The relevance of this analysis can be attributed to the study of non linear transmission lines. This device behavior is observed in both time and frequency domains. The impulse response can be used to find the frequency response for a linear circuit but this is not standard to find the frequency response of a non-linear system. The frequency response for this non linear capacitor is obtained for different inputs by taking the ratio of output Fourier transform to input Fourier transform. After analysis, it is observed that non linearity is giving some odd results indicating that the control on the nonlinearity is of great importance in circuits and systems and if this non linearity can be controlled somehow, these elements are going to give a new class of devices with good applications.
Keywords: non linear circuits, capacitor, admittance, impulse response, Fourier Transform, Frequency response and phase variation.

Abstract: In Forensic Analysis thousands of files are usually examined. Data in those files consists of unstructured text analyzing it by examiners is very difficult. Algorithms for clustering documents can facilitate the discovery of new and useful knowledge from the documents under analysis. Cluster analysis itself is not one specific algorithm but the general task to be solved. It can be achieved by various algorithms that differ significantly in their notion of what constitutes a cluster. Here we propose an approach that applies to clustering of Documents seized in police investigations. We define the proposed approach with K-Means algorithm. Our experiment shows that the performance of computer for inspecting several files is improved. Finally we also present and discuss several practical results that can be useful for researchers and practitioners of forensic computing.

Abstract: Due to the capacity of OFDM to transmit a high-speed data stream using multiple spectral-overlapped lower- speed subcarriers, it has been widely adopted in many new and emerging broadband wireless and wire-line communication systems. OFDM technology offers superior advantages of robustness against inter-carrier, high spectrum efficiency, adaptability to server channel conditions and inter-symbol interference, etc. so such system is adapted in various ways to increase the performance in communication system. OFDM system has gained much attention because it has effective solution for intersymbol interference which caused by dispersive channel. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) has been recognized as an outstanding method for high-speed cellular data communication where its implementation relies on very high-speed digital signal processing. OFDM systems are used to transmit high speed data rate. The approach of this paper is to study the variants of OFDM, designing of OFDM system and implementation of OFDM.

Review of Different Histogram Equalization Based Contrast Enhancement Techniques
ER. SHEFALI GUPTA, ER. YADWINDER KAUR Research Scholar, CSE, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Gharuan, Mohali, India Associate Professor, CSE, Chandigarh University, Gharuan, Mohali, India
Abstract: Images having low contrast are usually captured in dark or bright environments. So preprocessing of such images becomes necessary to make the images suitable for other image processing applications. Image enhancement is a common problem. The histogram equalization (HE) technique is widely used for this purpose because it is simple and effective. However, it produces undesirable visual artifacts in the output image because the mean brightness of the image is changed. This paper presents a review of different techniques that can be used for contrast enhancement. The ultimate aim of these techniques is to preserve the input mean brightness so that the image looks natural in appearance.

Abstract: The major characteristic of wireless sensor network is its dynamic formation over the varying topologies. Applications of wireless sensor network vary from defense operations to rescue operations and also extend to various environment monitoring and security surveillance applications. The use of wireless sensor networks in time critical applications has led to various research works which are independent of RF based algorithms. Similarly the RB based algorithms generate high error in distance measurements and hence are in-accurate when used alone. An algorithm that uses features of both RF and RB algorithms can efficiently solve the issue of location accuracy of sensor nodes in 3-D space. The proposed algorithm makes use of RF and RB based algorithms to successfully overcome the issue of location accuracy in noisy environment. Scalability of the network is considered for testing the accuracy of the proposed method. Results prove that that the performance of the algorithm increases with increase in the number of beacon nodes. The proposed algorithm has better results as compared to the other methods of distance measurement in noisy environment. Abstract: Due to the evolution of new technologies in the world of internet,E-commerce has become a very common and there are various attacks present behind this, one of them is phishing. Phishing is an attempt to retrieve personal and confidential information such as username, banking password, credit card details and account number etc.of users. In this project we have proposing a new technique named as “Antiphishing using dynamic image captcha based on (t, n) VCS”. The (t, n) VCS is secret sharing scheme where original image captcha is encoded into n shares (transparencies), and the stacking of any t out of n shares (transparencies) revels the secret image. The stacking of t-1 or fewer shares(transparencies) is unable to extract any information about the secret. To reduce the overhead of generatingn shares (transparencies) of user, this project proposes dynamic image captcha authentication using (t, n) VCS with unlimited n based on (t, n) VCS algorithm. Here original image captcha is divided into n number of shares, where one share stores with user and the remaining shares store in server. User’s share is stacked with servers share to reveal the secret image for identifying phishing website; theindividual sheet images do not reveal the secret image. Here users need to remember original image captcha for decryption. In this project we used (t, n) VCS based on basis matrices and the probabilistic model where optimal contrast with t=2 to 6 and n=2 to 10 are solved in this project.

PARUL SINGH, GOPAL SINGH M.Tech, Student, Computer Science, Department of Computer Science & Applications, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana, India Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Applications, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana, India
Abstract: Link Expiration is a major problem in existing secure as well as non-secure routing protocols of mobile ad hoc network (MANET) and is one of the most encouraging research areas. Due to link expiration packet loss and other routing overhead increased. So, the requirement is both: secure and reliable link. Secure communication in mobile ad hoc networks is difficult due to the following factors: mobility, limited resource availability, dynamic topology and limited processing power. MANETs are highly vulnerable to attacks namely, passive attacks and active attacks. Traditional routing protocols do not provide security. So, various secure routing protocols have been proposed to secure mobile ad hoc network. Link disconnection is another problem in mobile ad hoc network. Due to mobility of nodes link expires and the node has to find another route for sending the data. So, that route must be found in which the link does not expire before all the packets reach the destination. In this paper, the focus is on the security attacks present in the existing secure routing protocols and on those protocols which focus on link expiration time between nodes for sending the packets or data.

Abstract: MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Network) is a temporary network of mobile nodes. The peculiar property of a MANET is that it lacks infrastructure. So it suffers from many constraints; one of them is energy. There is a need of such a routing protocol which not only finds an efficient route but also conserves energy of the network. DSR (Dynamic Source Routing) is a famous reactive protocol in MANET. This paper presents an optimization of DSR to make it intelligent in terms of selection of routes so that the overall network lifetime can be increased. The performance of our proposed protocol is validated using NS2.35 and found that our proposed protocol IDSR (Intelligent Dynamic Source Routing) outperforms traditional DSR.

Abstract: In cloud computing environments guarantees, consistency mechanisms, state and transactions are frequently listed for scalability, measurability and performance. Based on this challenge we tend to presents CMQ, a UDP-based inherently asynchronous message queue to orchestrate messages, events and processes within the cloud. CMQ’s light- weight edge-to-edge style, that is somewhat almost like Unix Pipes, makes it terribly composable. By presenting our work, we tend to hope to initiate discussion on a way to implement lightweight electronic communication paradigms that are aligned with the general architectures and goals of cloud computing.

Abstract: Security has become one of the major issues for data communication over wired and wireless networks. To enhance the security of data transmission, existing system works on the cryptography based algorithms such as SSL, IPSec. Although IPSec and SSL accounts for great level of security, they introduce overheads. A mass of control messages exchanging also needed in order to adopt multiple path deliveries from source to destination. Different from the past work on the designs of cryptography algorithms and system infrastructures, we will propose a dynamic routing algorithm that could randomize delivery paths for data transmission. The algorithm is easy to implement and compatible with popular routing protocols, such as the Routing Information Protocol in wired networks and Destination-Sequenced Distance Vector protocol in wireless networks, without introducing extra control messages. An analytic study on the proposed algorithm is presented, and a series of simulation experiments are conducted to verify the analytic results and to show the capability of the proposed algorithm.

Abstract: Software Defined Networking (SDN) is an emerging network architecture where network control is decoupled from forwarding and is directly programmable. It promises to dramatically simplify the network management and enable innovation through network programmability. The POX is one of the open source SDN controller and a platform for the rapid development and prototyping of network control software. This paper proposes a set of rules which are defined in the POX controller and based on which the Ethernet switch will take the appropriate decisions during transmission of data packets in the network. The method is proposed to optimize the bandwidth of the network using the iPerf tool. Then the method of assigning priority to the network packets based on different fields in the open flow table is presented. Also described the process of defining different rules set in each switch in the network. The experimental results show that the utilization of bandwidth increases and the average Round-Trip Time (RTT) time decreases for the POX controller.

Abstract: A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a continuously self-administering, less-infrastructure network of mobile devices connected without wires. Each device in a MANET is free to move independently in more directions, and it can change its links to other devices frequently. The general challenge in building a MANET is equipping each device to continuously maintain the information required to its route traffic. Such networks may operate by itself or may be connected to the larger Internet. Every node works as both a transmitter and a receiver. They may contain one or multiple and different transceivers between nodes. This results in a highly – dynamic, autonomous topology .on individual layer like Application Layer (Malicious code, Repudiation) , Transport Layer(Session hijacking, Flooding ) attacks on MANETs challenge the mobile infrastructure in which nodes can join and leave easily with dynamics requests without a static path of routing this makes mantes vulnerable to a malicious attackers. we need to develop efficient intrusion-detection mechanisms to protect MANET from attacks. To overcome attacks on Mantes we have to provide more security by expanding MANETS into industrial applications based on improved technology and reduced hardware cost. Here we developed a new intrusion-detection system named Enhanced Adaptive Acknowledgment (EAACK) specially designed for MANETs has been developed. EAACK demonstrates higher malicious-behaviour- detection rates in certain circumstances while does not greatly affect the network performances.

Abstract: Software Testing is the process of validation and verification of product to provide the quality and efficiency and regression testing is the process of validating the modified software to detect errors that have been introduced into previously tested code. The test cases need to be generated as the software is modified and size of test suites will also increase. In this case, there is need of prioritization of test cases to reduce the cost of regression testing. The genetic algorithm (GA) has been proposed for prioritizing the test cases on the basis of fault coverage and execution time. The proposed work will improve the effectiveness of algorithm with the help of genetic algorithm (GA). Total fault coverage with in time constrained environment on different examples is needed to prioritize the test cases and their finite solution should obtained. Through Genetic Algorithm technique, an approach has been identified to find a suitable population, which was further formulated by GA operations to make it more flexible and efficient. The theoretical approach has been discussed.

Content Based Image Retrieval Using Color and Textural Features
SHRUTI S.BETAGERI, V.S.MALEMATH, SHIVANAND M.PATIL Department of Computer Science & Engineering, KLE DR MSS College of Engineering & Technology, Belgaum, India
Abstract: In this paper, a novel approach for content based image retrieval using color and textural features is presented. The system is developed and tested on 400 images in 5 different categories such as forest, water contained area, animals, cartoon and construction buildings images. The features extraction developed consists of the combination of textural and color features. The texture features are extracted through wavelet transformation and the color features with color histogram. The extraction of color features from digital images depends on an understanding of the theory of color and the representation of color in digital images. Color spaces are an important component for relating color to its representation in digital form. The transformations between different color spaces and the quantization of color information are primary determinants of a given feature extraction method. The approach is found to be robust in terms of accuracy and is 92.4% amongst five categories.

Abstract: In this paper we proposed, a method which effectively classifies noise present in the images using statistical moment based feature extraction and continuing with fuzzy based classification. Noise in corrupted information that may hide the original information of an image. To identify which type of noise exactly present in the digital images fuzzy logic method is used in this work. The feature value helps us to distinguish between the noises. In order to remove the noise from the images one should know which type of noise present in that image. As the step of identifying of noise completes it makes easy for the researcher to remove the noise present in the image Gaussian noise, Salt and pepper noise, Speckle noise have an different feature value which is generated by skewness and kurtosis and also are the type of noises that are identified in this paper using Fuzzy Classification.

Effect of Substrate parameters on Mutual Coupling between Microstrip Antennas
SACHIN.K.M, MAHESH.A M.Tech, Student, Department of ECE, RVCE, Bangalore, India Assistant Professor, Department of ECE, Bangalore, India
Abstract: For any wireless application, microstrip patch antenna has to meet the contrasting requirement of high gain and low return loss. The gain of microstrip patch antenna can be improved by increasing the number of antenna elements forming a linear or planar array. Mutual coupling between microstrip antennas becomes an important factor to consider when designing an antenna array. A mutual coupling reduction method is introduced here for closely placed two element microstrip antennas positioned in E-plane, H-plane and for diagonal orientations. The microstrip patch array antennas are designed, simulated and optimized using HFSS software. To achieve the compactness of an antenna array, antennas are placed at distance of less than half wavelength. To reduce the coupling effect, rectangular slots are introduced between the patch antenna elements.
Design of Error-Tolerant CMOS Adder Using optimized Transistor Count

Abstract: In modern VLSI technology, the occurrence of all kinds of errors cannot be avoided. So, the error-tolerant adder (ETA) is designed. Error-tolerant circuit may produce erroneous outputs but the motivation for using it is an increase in effective yield, improved revenues, and lower-cost parts. It can be seen as a new trade-off parameter besides power and speed. The three important considerations of VLSI design is power, area, and delay. Number of transistors used in adder also plays an important role in area. The proposed design of Error tolerant adder, transistor count has been reduced by incorporating the 4 transistor XOR gate in the design of Adder. When compared to other ETAs, the proposed optimized ETA is able to achieve nearly 50% improvement in the area (transistor count) with considerable power.
Performance Analysis of LEACH-SCH Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network in Heterogeneous and Homogeneous Region Considering Variable Length of Packet
RASHMI TYAGI, MRS. GREESHMA ARYA Student, ECE, IGIT, Delhi, India Assistant Professor, ECE, IGIT, Delhi, India
Abstract: Wireless Sensor Network are networks of large number of small, battery powered sensor nodes having limited on-board storage, processing and radio capabilities .The transmission and reception between source and sink consumes lots of energy as compare to data processing. Designing protocols and applications for such has to be energy aware in order to prolong the lifetime of the network. For this purpose clustering routing protocol is the most common technique used for energy aware routing in WSNs. In this paper, we firstly completely analyzes the basic distributed clustering routing protocol LEACH-SCH (Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy- Supporting Cluster Head), then we study the impact of heterogeneity in order to prolong the lifetime of WSN. The simulation results of proposed protocols are compared for its network life time in MATLAB with LEACH protocol.

Abstract: Although software inspection has led to improvements in software quality, many software systems continue to be deployed with unacceptable numbers of errors, even when software inspection is part of the development process. The difficulty of manually verifying that the software under inspection conforms to the rules is partly to blame. We describe the design and development of a tool designed to help alleviate this problem. The tool provides mechanisms for inspection of software by exposing the results of sophisticated whole-program static analysis to the inspector. The tool computes many static-semantic representations of the program, forward and backward slicing and dependence factors. Whole-program pointer analysis is used to make sure that the representation is precise with respect to aliases induced by pointer usage. Views on the dependency and related representations are supported. Queries on the dependence graph allow an inspector to answer detailed questions about the semantics of the program. Facilities for openness and extensibility permit the tool to be integrated with many software-development processes. The main challenge of the approach is to provide facilities to navigate and manage the enormous complexity of the dependence graph. Which will test the correctness of the program by identifying some of the rules .Whether particular variable in the program is working or malfunctioning, Checking the malfunctioning by the dependency factors by using backward and forward slicing. This will identify the checkpoints and not to identify the errors and which area a particular checkpoint is getting effected will be reflected.

Abstract: Ensemble approaches in classification is a very popular research area in recent years. An ensemble consists of a set of individually trained classifiers such as neural networks or decision trees whose predictions are combined for classifying new instances. It integrates multiple classifiers to build a classification model, and also used for improving the prediction performance. “Diversity” is one of the elements required for accurate prediction when using an ensemble. It is used in wide area of research such as statistics, pattern recognition, and machine learning. This paper presents an updated survey of ensemble methods in classification tasks, and introducing a new taxonomy for characterizing them. The new taxonomy presented here, is based on five dimensions: inducer, combiner, diversity, size, and members dependency.

Abstract: It will analyze from a company’s point of view the factors that need to be considered by an enterprise when making the decision of using Cloud Computing. Cloud Computing is the latest trend in IT. So the companies are moving towards Cloud Computing. On the other hand, other companies cannot take into consideration the idea of having their sensitive data outside their premises. These two cases represent companies that are just not very well informed. To analyze the positive and negative aspects of each of the following factors: integration with existing IT infrastructure and existing software, costs, return on investment, performances, security. Also, we will correlate all these factors with the company size and business area in order to identify if or what type of Cloud Computing solution is suitable for company’s needs.

Abstract: In some recent researches Distributed Coordinate Function becomes an important mechanism in order to access the medium (Channel). The IEEE 802.11 protocol is based on Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance (CSMA/CA) with a binary exponential backoff (BEB) algorithm to access the channel as the architecture of 802.11 handles MAC(Medium Access Control) layer and specification of Physical layer for Wireless LANs. The backoff procedure reduces the probability of collision enhancing its performance. In binary exponential backoff (BEB) algorithm with every unsuccessful transmission introduces twice the waiting time of a node than the previous value redundant fast-growing retransmission delays for the backlog traffic. Delay in the retransmission can cause the nodes to move out of the collision range in a MANET waiting for retransmission. Hence the growth of waiting time should be reduced in MANET. The number of redundant retransmissions and frequent collisions in BEB reduces the performance of the network. DCF reduces the Contention Window to the original value after every successful transmission which essentially assumes that each successful transmission is an indication that the system is under low traffic loading. QoS (Quality of Service) is a key problem of today’s IP networks.

SALMAN RAJU TALLURI, SUNIL VIDHYA BHOOSHAN Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, JUIT, Solan, India Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, JUIT, Solan, India
Abstract: The theme of this paper is to present and analyze two novel circuit models which can be used in the realization of composite right hand and left hand transmission line meta-materials (CRLH MTM). Along with this, the conventional circuit models which are being used in literature very extensively are also presented in two different cases namely lossy and lossless case. The main purpose of this analysis is to investigate the circuit models which give a non- linear dispersion relation or phase constant, with a maximum or minimum as a function of frequency while maintaining the low attenuation constant. It is observed that the new proposed circuit models are meeting the requirement of having no attenuation constant while having the dispersion relationship with maximum or minimum. This is proved with the mathematical expressions, giving an opportunity to explore these circuits in fabrication for practical applications.

Abstract: In a video signals the detection of salient motion involves determining which motion is attended or presented by the human visual system in presence of complex background motion that are constantly changing. When the video sequence is represented as a linear dynamical system, then the salient motion detection is achieved from the output pixel. Salient motion is detected by comparing predictability to the more complex unpredictable background motion. The pixel saliency map is supported by two region based saliency map. It consists of different spatiotemporal patches in a video with the salient region in a global as well as local scene.

Abstract: The major source of communication in present day word is digital media (multimedia or digital images), as digital media can be easily manipulated, protection of data by legitimate means becomes difficult. Watermarking offers a better solution to this problem. Over the years many have proposed better watermarking algorithms for copy right protection, i.e. increasing the robustness of the watermarked data. Artificial intelligence techniques for watermarking have proven to offer better robustness and give a blind watermarking approach. In this paper, a blind and robust image watermarking algorithm is proposed using hybrid intelligence techniques i.e. combination of Artificial Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic. The proposed method uses Fuzzy-Neuro system to offer combined advantages of both Artificial Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic the input to the system is given from the Human Visual System (HVS) model and the output thus generated is used in watermark embedding. The proposed system gives better robustness against many image processing attacks like rotation, sharpening, image contrast attacks, etc.

Abstract: Oral cancer is among the 10 most common cancers in worldwide, and is especially seen in disadvantaged elderly males. Early prevention and detection and of oral cancer is critical, as it can increase the existence chances significantly, allow for simpler action and result in a better quality of life for survivors. In this article, the association rule mining algorithm, apriori is used to find the spread of oral cancer with the help of various inquiries and then measure the chance of survival of the patient. This is attained by extracting a set of rules among various laboratory tests and inquiries like RFT, fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), Biopsy, Ultrasound, Sonography Test (USG), Chest x- ray or computed tomographyand survivability of the oral cancer patients. The rules clearly show that if FNAC, USG and Chest x-ray or computed tomography, then chance of existence is reduced. However, if RFT is now normal, the probability of survival is positive. If diagnostic-biopsy results in squamous-cell-carcinoma, then it clearly designate oral cancer, which may lead to high humanity if appropriate treatment is not initiated. The new results demonstrate that all the generated rules hold the highest confidence level, thereby, creation investigations very essential to understand the spread of cancer after medical examination for early detection and prevention of oral cancer.

Abstract: Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) consist of sensor nodes. These networks have huge application in habitat monitoring, disaster management, security and military, etc. Wireless sensor nodes are very small in size and have limited processing capability and very low battery power. This restriction of low battery power makes the sensor network prone to failure. Data aggregation is a very crucial technique in WSNs. Data aggregation helps in reducing the energy consumption by eliminating redundancy. This work focuses on summarizing various approaches used for the purpose of data aggregation and its various energy-efficient uses in WSN.

Abstract: This paper proposed the vertical handoff decision method to measure call blocking probability with respect to available number of wireless networks and analyzes the variation in mean number of request by variation in its parameter value. The multi criteria vertical handoff decision algorithm will select the best available network with optimized parameter values. For the handoff decision, the different parameters of network need to be considered based on which the handoff process will be initiated. These parameters are Network Bandwidth, RSS, threshold bandwidth, power dissipation, power consumption, network condition and these are considered as the QOS (Quality of service) as the decision will depend on these parameters and calculations. The handoff approach will handle the optimization problems of vertical handoff in heterogeneous wireless network. The proposed approach is easy to implement and has less computational complexity in terms of time.

Abstract: In this paper, we will enlist the process of extracting template from heterogeneous Web Pages. Extracting structured information from semi-structured machine readable web pages automatically plays a major role these days, so some websites are using common templates with contents to populate the data for good productivity, Where WWW is the major resource for extracting the information. The problem here is for machines, the templates in the web pages are considered to be harmful since they degrade the performance of web applications due to irrelevant terms in the Template. As a result, the performance of the entire system degrades. Template Detection technique can be used to improve the performance of search engine as well as for classification of web documents. In this paper, we present algorithms to extract templates from a very large number of web pages that are getting generated from heterogeneous templates. Using the similarity of template structures in the document, we can cluster the web documents so that the template for each cluster will be extracted simultaneously.
