Abstract: Abstract: The process of selecting a career is challenging, and the general counseling provides limited knowledge about the necessary skills in a particular profession. Our proposed web application identifies the content of a resume in PDF form and uses it to extract its TF-IDF features to classify it using a model to suggest the domain of the career, whether software engineer or data scientist. It then evaluates the skills present in the resume based on the skills required by the job, suggests the skill gaps, and suggests some courses, certificates, and topics that should be studied for interviews. In addition to this, there is also a chatbot, an interview simulator, resume generator, and ATS score checker as other parts of the application. This application is built using Python, Flask, MySQL, and Scikit-learn. All the modules performed as expected in their tests.
