Abstract: CareBridge – Unified Healthcare Services System is a web-based application designed to integrate and streamline healthcare services through a centralized digital platform. Traditional healthcare management often involves separate systems for patient registration, appointment scheduling, medical records, laboratory reports, prescriptions, and medicine inventory, which can lead to inefficient coordination and increased administrative workload. To address these challenges, CareBridge provides an integrated solution connecting patients, hospitals, doctors, laboratories, and medical stores. The system enables patients to register, manage their profiles, book appointments, access medical histories, and download prescriptions and laboratory reports. Doctors can manage appointments, maintain patient records, issue prescriptions, and request laboratory investigations. Laboratories can update test statuses and upload diagnostic reports, while medical stores can manage medicine details, monitor stock levels, track batch numbers, and identify expired or near-expiry medicines. The application also supports report generation, PDF downloads, and notifications related to appointments, laboratory reports, prescriptions, and medicine inventory. A modular architecture and structured database facilitate efficient data management and communication between interconnected components. Appropriate authentication and role-based access control can help protect sensitive healthcare information. The proposed system aims to reduce manual paperwork, improve information accessibility, enhance coordination among healthcare stakeholders, and simplify routine administrative activities. CareBridge offers a unified approach to healthcare management and provides opportunities for future enhancement through telemedicine, artificial intelligence, online payments, and advanced healthcare analytics.
