IoT-Enabled Voice-Controlled Personal Assistant Robot with Real-Time Audio Feedback and Video Monitoring

Abstract: The emergence of the Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems and wireless communication technologies has accelerated the evolution of intelligent robotic systems that assist the user when performing a variety of tasks in the real world. Voice-controlled robots give people a natural and convenient way to control them without using traditional control devices such as switches, joysticks or remote controllers. The paper presents the design and implementation of the voice-controlled personal assistant robot based on Inter-net of Things (IoT) technology. It involves microcontrollers (Arduino Uno) and Bluetooth communication. The robot is controlled by voice commands using a smartphone app. The robot features direction capabilities and audio feedback via a speaker, and real-time video monitoring via Wi-Fi camera. All hardware used to build the robotic platform is commercially available and relatively cheap. Itβs ideal for educational use, research, and prototype work.
