Comparison Of Architectures For The Numerically Controlled Oscillator

Abstract: Numerically Controlled Oscillators are used in almost all stages of transmitters and receivers regardless of different wireless generations. This paper weighs pros and cons the two well known NCO architectures οΏ½ the Look Up Table Approach and the CORDIC algorithm.
