Abstract: Energy saving and Congestion avoidance are the crucial issues in wireless sensor networks. In existing paper consider mostly how to reduce energy without data information, importance and timing issue. In this paper to overcome this issue by effective utilization of adaptive duty cycle terminology in Energy Efficient Data Transmission Control (EEDTC) algorithm in a real time application. The data transmission is control by using different duty cycle task (RTOS task-Real Time Operating System Task) for different data types. Duty cycle control for Real time application is a crucial issue because of timing problem. This is adaptively achieved using priority based data transmission in wireless sensor networks.

Keywords: Wireless sensor network, Duty cycle, RTOS task, Scheduling, Congestion, EEDTC
