Recent Advancements in EEG Signal Acquisition and Processing Techniques: A Review

Abstract: This paper discusses the recent developments in EEG signal acquisition and processing for the detection of various neurological disorders like Epileptic Seizure, Stroke, tetraplegia and Alzheimer etc. Meanwhile a brief study is also made with MEG signal processing as the future detection method. This paper also discusses integration of EEG with other neuroimaging techniques like ECG, NIRS, and FEM. Keywords: Electroencephalogram (EEG), ECG, NIRS, FEM and Magnetoencephalography (MEG).
