Abstract: Systematic literature review screening requires assessment of bibliographic records against predefined criteria. This paper presents SR-Screen-AI, an explainable rule-based AI-assisted decision-support system integrating import, duplicate detection, weighted screening, explanations, reviewer validation, and reporting. Eight software tests passed, and a 50-record baseline trial achieved 81.82% precision, 90.00% recall, and 85.71% F1-score, supporting transparent reviewer-controlled screening.
