Abstract: Abstract: Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) refers to a group of spatially dispersed and dedicated sensors for monitoring and recording the physical conditions of the environment and organizing the collected data at a central location. WSNs measure environmental conditions like temperature, sound, pollution levels and so on. It is deployable where wired is not possible and is scalable. Limited computation and communication resources are the only disadvantages in wireless sensor networks. They have limited battery power, limited storage and computation capabilities and have limited bandwidth to communicate. Despite the above, sensor networks are being used widely and considered to be the backbone of the phenomenon called “Internet of Things. since they are prone to the security attacks, intruder cell detection using swarm tissue growing algorithm will be very much useful to enhance WSN security.
