Data Aggregation for Spatially Correlated data using Polynomial Regression in 3D Wireless Sensor Network
Abstract: Sensor nodes observing events, occurring in close proximity, gather data that are highly co-related. This work uses a polynomial regression technique to exploit the spatial correlation of the data in a three dimensional sensor network. The sensing nodes, sense the physical attribute and report their position coordinates (x, y, z) and the sensed value to the nearest tree node. Another set of nodes, categorized as the tree nodes, are responsible for generating a polynomial function of the received data and transmit the coefficients of regression to the parent tree node. The approach proceeds from the bottom to the top. The query from the sink, receives a polynomial function which is generated by the root node of the tree in each cluster to compute the attribute value at any location within the boundary. The proposed approach aims to save a lot of energy in the sensor network. Simulations, performed for different tree heights, indicate that a tree with a depth of four gives the best results.

Detection and Prevention of Resource Depletion Attacks in Wireless Ad Hoc Sensor Networks
Abstract: Wireless Ad Hoc Sensor Networks are the networks with will collection of wireless devices. They meant for some kind of sensing tasks. There are many real world utilities of these kinds of network. For instance, they are used for environment monitoring, studying wildlife habitat besides a plethora of military and civilian applications. These sensor networks suffer from lack of resources. In other words, they do have fewer resources such as energy. Therefore they are subjected to numerous attacks. Resource depletion attack or vampire attack is one such attack where a compromised node involves in generating more network traffic which depletes energy of the nodes. The vampire node behaves as per the underlying protocol making the network difficult to detect such attack. This is the problem to be addressed. Recently Vasserman and Hopper proposed a method to prevent “vampire attacks” in Ad Hoc Sensor Networks. Their research reveled that vampire attacks are not specific to any protocol. However, they depend on many routing protocols. In this paper we implement a prototype application that simulates the Wireless Ad Hoc Sensor Network with number of nodes and sink with the resource depletion attack model. Our empirical results reveal that the prototype is able to provide encouraging results.

Implementation of OFDM Based Communication System using Novel FFT Processor Architecture
Abstract: Integrated circuits to support digital communication standards are commonly based on a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) of some length. Flexible length makes the design more usable for configurable algorithm-specific circuits. The proposed project discusses the functional aspects of a FFT design. As the transform length increases the amount of arithmetic involved becomes excessive. This makes Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to one of today’s most important tools in digital signal processing, as it enables the efficient transformation between time and frequency domain. Over the last decade, researches have been done on how to transmit the data using OFDM transmission over selective channels. The proposed project will show how the FFT is better adapted to the requirements in the application of OFDM at the frequency of 160 MHz. The simulation results show the output of each butterfly by enabling co- simulation of the butterfly outputs using VHDL. The simulation results also show the transmission of data through OFDM technique using FFT implementation. The Synthesizing and implementation (i.e. Translate, Map and Place and Route) of the code is carried out on Xilinx - Project Navigator, ISE 8.2i suite. By this project we have to show the lossless transmission of information.

Implementation of Ripple Carry and Carry Skip Adders with Speed and Area Efficient
Abstract: The binary adder is the critical element in most digital circuit designs including digital signal processors (DSP) and microprocessor datapath units. As such, extensive research continues to be focused on improving the powerdelay performance of the adder. In VLSI implementations, parallel-prefix adders are known to have the best performance. Binary adders are one of the most essential logic elements within a digital system. In addition, binary adders are also helpful in units other than Arithmetic Logic Units (ALU), such as multipliers, dividers and memory addressing. Therefore, binary addition is essential that any improvement in binary addition can result in a performance boost for any computing system and, hence, help improve the performance of the entire system. Parallel-prefix adders (also known as carry-tree adders) are known to have the best performance in VLSI designs. This paper investigates three types of carry-tree adders (the Kogge-Stone, sparse Kogge-Stone, and spanning tree adder) and compares them to the simple Ripple Carry Adder (RCA) and Carry Skip Adder (CSA). In this project Xilinx-ISE tool is used for simulation, logical verification, and further synthesizing.

RSS and Spatial Correlation Based Approach to Detect and Localize Spoofing Attackers in Wireless Networks
Abstract: Wireless networks are vulnerable to attacks due to shared medium and mobility besides resource constrained nature. Spoofing attacks are one kind of attacks that can be launched easily on wireless networks. Cryptography can be used to overcome this problem. However, conventional security approaches cannot be directly used with wireless networks as they cause overhead. Without depending on cryptography, recently Yang et al. proposed a method that uses spatial information to detect spoofing attacks, find number of attackers involved in the attacks and also localizing the adversaries. Spatial correlation of received signal strength is used in order to achieve this. SVM and cluster based mechanism are used to know number of attackers and improve accuracy of detection. In this paper we build a prototype network application that simulates the wireless networks. It is used to demonstrate the detection and localization of spoofing attackers. The empirical results reveal that the proposed application is capable of detecting attacks besides localizing attackers.

Document-Document similarity matrix and Multiple-Kernel Fuzzy C-Means Algorithm-based web document clustering for information retrieval
Abstract: Due to continuous development of World Wide Web, web database are growing massively where automatic grouping of web documents pose a new challenge for researchers to easily retrieve the information. Literature presents different algorithms for web document clustering useful for information retrieval. In this work, Document-Document similarity matrix and Multiple-Kernel Fuzzy C-Means Algorithm-based web document clustering is developed for information retrieval. At first, web documents are read and initial pre-processing are applied to extract the important words. Then, feature space is constructed using keywords and its frequency. Subsequently, document to document similarity matrix is constructed using the similarity measure, called semantic retrieval measure (SR). The measure considers four different criteria, such as, the probability of occurrence in the document, probability of occurrence in the first document, probability of occurrence in the second document and probability of occurrence in both synonyms set. Based on this measure, D-D matrix is computed to do the final grouping using Multiple-Kernel Fuzzy C-Means Algorithm. The experimentation is done with 100 web documents and the results are evaluated with accuracy and entropy.

Risk Based Multilevel and Multifactor Authentication using Device Registration and Dynamic QR code based OTP Generation
Abstract: Online and Enterprise resources typically required authentication before user allow to access the sensitive applications and information. Sensitive information generally contains user personal information, transactions, confidential data, etc. Traditional user authentication system used user identifier, Password, Personal Identification Number (PIN), Token code etc. These Systems can't fulfil the current requirement of the user authentication. So that most of the system used multilevel and multifactor authentication mechanism to allow authorized user to get access the sensitive application and information. Recently such multilevel and multifactor security is provided using Risk Based Authentication (RBA) mechanism. The RBA provides access based on Enforcement policy and access decision based on the risk score. Due to which RBA mechanism provides a more secure way to access the sensitive application and information by the user. In this paper, we will propose RBA mechanism based on User’s machine specific authentication information and Dynamic Quick Response (QR) code based One Time Password generation for User step Up Authentication.

An Efficient Image Independent Thinning Algorithm
Abstract: As we know that image thinning plays an important role in image processing, It is also equally important to propose an efficient image thinning algorithm with an objective, to minimize the amount of information to be processed by preserving the important information required to preserve the topological and geometrical properties of the thinned image, thereby enhancing the later processing procedure. This can be achieved by an efficient image independent thinning algorithm. This algorithm process the image in two-passes, in first pass of this algorithm, the entire image is thinned to two pixels thick and in second pass; the two pixel width image is further thinned to one pixel thick without any discontinuities in the resultant image.

A Unique Step towards Generation of Electricity via New Methodology
Abstract: In this paper we are representing the methodology of electrical power generation using human footstep. This is about how we can generate electricity using human’s waste foot energy and applications for the same. When human walk in surroundings some force exerts on surface this force can be used to generate electricity. The idea of convertingpressurize weight energy into the electrical energy is possible by piezo-electric crystal. The power generating floors can be a major application if we use piezoelectric crystals as an energy converting material. The piezo-electric crystals have crystalline structure and ability to convert the mechanical energy (stress and strain) into the electrical energy. Whenever there is some vibrations, stress or straining force is exert by foot onfloorthen these crystals evenlyconverts it into electric power which can be used for charging devices viz laptop, mobiles, electronic devices etc. In this paper, we are discussed about applications and generation of electricity in the area of power harvesting.

Wheelchair Mobility A Novel Approach
Abstract: This paper reviews how to build a accurate mobility enhancing device for wheelchair users. The basic idea is to mount the wheelchair on top of a device that is capable of required maneuvers. A major discussion for this mobility is to allow the wheelchair user to control the wheelchair carrying vehicle utilizing human machine interface (HMI) approach. To achieve this compatibility a dynamics mimicking device is build that interfaces between the wheelchair and the carrying vehicle. The surface device obtains the kinematics of the wheelchair as well as the desired motion and translates it for the command of carrying vehicle such that the carrying vehicle performs the desired action instead of the wheelchair. This review provide the reader to understand how the technology and science can be used to develop the assistive dynamics mimicking and serve as a platform for researcher to work on more complex scenarios.

VLSI Implementation Using DWT For Image Compression and Image Fusion For Medical Applications
Abstract: Image fusion is a data fusion technology which keeps images as main research contents. It is techniques that integrate multi-images of the same scene from multiple image sensor data or integrate multi images of the same scene at different times from one image sensor. The fusion technique in medical images is useful for resourceful disease diagnosis purpose. For medical diagnosis, Computed Tomography (CT) provides the best information on denser tissue with less distortion. Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) provides better information on soft tissue with more distortion. The image fusion algorithm based on Discrete Wavelet Transform which is faster developed was a multi-resolution analysis image fusion method in recent decade. Discrete Wavelet Transform has good time-frequency characteristics. The paper proposes that the method could extract useful information from source images to fused images so that clear images are obtained. In this paper, a hardware implementation of a image fusion system is proposed. Here using MATLAB we can convert images into pixel-format files and to observe simulation results. To implement this paper XPS & VB are needed. Using XPS, first select hardware & software components then by adding source and header files & converting it into bit streams and download into FPGA, to obtain fused image. The input image can also be recovered by combining of fused image and the other input image.

Investigating The Impact Of Adaptive Risk Aware Response System With Ds Importance Factors In Manets
Abstract: MANET is a self-organized, infrastructure less network that is established to provide wireless communication in improvised environment. Due to the dynamic network topology, the network is more vulnerable to attacks, predominantly the routing attacks. These routing attacks are detected and the risk level is estimated, for which the necessary response actions are implemented by the Intrusion Response System. Of these response actions, the existing binary isolation and naĂŻve fuzzy deteriorate the network performance when implemented. Hence, in this paper, An Adaptive Risk Aware Response System with Dempster Shafer theory that includes a notion of importance factors (ARSDSIF) is analysed and implemented. In this system, the importance factors are being assigned to evidences to attain the attack frequency and node reputation value of nodes in the network. These parameters (attack frequency and node reputation value) determine the risk threshold to instigate reliable time-wise isolation actions in the network. The ARSDSIF improves the overall network performance when compared to basic intrusion response actions. The effectiveness of our approach is analysed with respect to several performance metrics using NS-2 simulator.

Vulnerability Detection in Remote Code Execution A Survey
Abstract: We are totally dependent on the web in today’s age. It makes everything in communication easy. But the other side is the darker side. Communication on the web is easy and convenient way for data sending and receiving but the chances of data accessing from the remote side is also increasing. Now a days Remote Code Execution (RCE) threat is in the dangerous span over the internet. In RCE the attacker transform their code to the legal client with the help of scripting language and control the code according to their choice and the legal user not know what happened to their side. We can say that it is a type of cross site scripting (XSS) attack. In this attack geographical location doesn’t matter, where you are? IT only knows the scripting and the controller. It is the higher risk today in web world. So in this paper we have discussed RCE in detail with the control techniques which are suggested in the previous research as well as the future scope of betterment.

Microcode March SS Algorithm Implementation in the MBIST with Redundancy Repair Module
Abstract: There is a huge exponential growth in the area occupied by the embedded memories on the System-on-Chip (SoC) because of the data that the users prefer to store in the devices. The expectation of the user is that it has to be very precise and accurate at the same time. Hence there is a need for testing these modules once in a while for which Built in Self Test was introduced in recent years. Testing is only an initial part after which comes the repairing where the faults detected during testing must be answered. In this paper March SS algorithm is implemented to test an embedded memory in such a way that the steps in the algorithm is converted into microcode that is the most optimized way of implementing a algorithm that is used for testing in BIST module. Along with BIST an enhancement where we can repair the faulty address locations is included which does the repairing by the means of a Redundancy module. Due to this we can have the best implementation where we can have a testing as well as repairing the faulty address location in a single SoC. The proposed architecture was implemented using Verilog HDL, simulated using Xilinx simulation tool and synthesis by Xilinx Synthesis tool.

Head Mouse
Abstract: Head tracking driven virtual computer mouse system called “head mouse”, is developed for manipulating hand free perceptual user interfaces. It consists the characteristics of a Robust, Real-time head tracker, Head pose/Motion estimator, Virtual mouse control module. For detecting faces in color images we use the Ad boost algorithm. At the first stage, skin color model in the YCbCr chrominance space is built to segment pixels which are non-skin-color from the image. Then in the later stages, to remove the noisy regions and fill holes in the skin-color region, the mathematical morphological operators are used that can extract candidate human face regions. By using this, the cursor position is navigated and fine-tuned by using head tilt or yaw rotation the relative position of tracking window in image space is beneficial under the circumstances of user jumping, extreme movement, large degree rotation, turning around, hand/object occlusion, part face out of camera shooting region and multi-user occlusion. It encourages the applications of Interactive computer games, Machine guidance, Robot control and machine access for disabilities and elders.

Watermarking of Relational Databases Using Optimization technique
Abstract: Watermarking of the databases is a technique where we add additional non-detectable information is added into the original data. The main aim of implementing watermarking is for ownership proof and to prevent our precious data from being tampered with by an anonymous entity. The accuracy of the item is slightly degraded but the watermark acts as a seal that henceforth identifies the owner of the software. In our paper we present an effective watermarking technique geared for watermarking of relational databases. In our watermarking technique, use of a secret key is done, which play’s a very important role in protecting the owner’s data from being tampered with. Only if one has access to this secret key can the watermark be detected with high probability. The watermark can be easily and efficiently be maintained using insertion, deletion and the update of the database.

Improving Detection Performance of Duplicate Bug Reports Using Extended Centroid Features
Abstract: According to recent work, detection on duplicate bug reports has received much attention. One of the reasons is that duplicate bug reports may consume time of bug triagers and software developers. In previous studies, many schemes have been developed for using text mining techniques or using the information retrieval and natural language processing techniques. In this paper, we propose a method to improve centroid characteristics by adjusting centroids with better initial values than based on Class-Feature-Centroid (CFC) [12]. With the effectiveness of CFC, the centroid- based approach can obtain further improvements for detection performance. The method includes two steps. First, we extract inter-class and inner-class term indices from the corpus. Second, we enhance centroid calculation based on class features. Moreover, for similarity measure we also adapt the calculation of the traditional cosine similarity by denormalized cosine measure which is also used in [12].

Efficiency of Parallel Algorithms on Multi Core Systems Using OpenMP
Abstract: The improvement in performance gained by the use of a multi core processor depends very much on the software algorithms used and their implementation. In particular, possible gains are limited by the fraction of the software that can be run in parallel simultaneously on multiple cores and this effect is described by Amdahl's law. Most applications, however, are not accelerated so much unless programmers invest a prohibitive amount of effort in re- factoring the whole problem. In order to exploit the complete capabilities of multi core systems, applications have to become increasingly parallel in nature. Writing parallel program is not an easy task. OpenMP programming model helps in creating multithreaded applications for the existing sequential programs. This paper analyses the performance improvement of a parallel algorithm on multi core systems. The experimental results shows Significant speed up achieved on multi core systems with the parallel algorithm.

A Review on Ontology Based Search Engine
Abstract: An ontology based search engine helps in identifying the most efficient and useful result for the input query. The result produced by the ontology based search engines are purely based on the literal meaning of the word in the given sentence. It does not take the keyword in the given sentence; instead it takes the meaning of the query submitted. There are many kind of techniques followed in implementing the ontology based search engines. Here, in this paper we identify the some of the techniques to be used in developing the search engine. All of the techniques are different from one other and that the efficiency is also different. These techniques form a special pattern of accuracy and they are disused in the paper. The difference in the working of the keyword based search engines and the ontology based search engines are shown with examples. Also the ontology based search engine that is build up using the fuzzy logic ontology is considered here. An ontology based search engine that is developed in many steps with the help of multi crawlers is also taken into cconsideration.

Impact of Different Mobility Models on AODV Protocol in MANET with NS-2.35 and Bonnmotion-2.1a
Abstract: Mobile Adhoc Networks are self configuring, infrastructureless network (i.e) a network without any existing network infrstructure or centralized administrationn. To faclitate communication among the nodes in MANET, multiple hops are needed due to the limited range of wireless network interfaces. In order to exchange data among the nodes ,a routing protocol[1] is used to discover the routes. The goal of routing protocol is to efficiently construct a route between a pair of nodes with minimum routing overhead and bandwidth consumption. In this paper, the performance of the best mobility model with the use of AODV routing protocol is implemented. Link breaks and Average Link Changes are calculated for different mobility models like Random Walk,Gauss Markov,Manhattan using BONNMOTION 2.1a[5] by varying the Network Size,Simulation Time and Transmission Range in order to decide on the best mobility model . Further the correctness of the best mobility model is investigated by the assessment of performance paramaeters like packet delivery ratio (PDR), average end to end delay, and throughput. . NS-2.35[6] was used to produce the networks, services and situation personality. According to the simulation study, the best mobility model is manahattam mobility model with less number of link breaks and average link changes and also with the instigation of performance metrics.

Detection of Routing Misbehaviour in MANET using the Trusted AODV Protocol
Abstract: A Mobile Ad-hoc Network is a Decentralised Network and is a group of mobile nodes that are dynamically and arbitrarily located in such a way that the interconnections between the nodes keep on changing continuously such a decentralised network is not secure and can face many security issues one of them is attack by malicious nodes in the network, Such an attack is serious threat in MANET. The performance of AODV and Trusted AODV without any malicious nodes in the network was analysed earlier. The malicious nodes can attack can attack the control packet and misbehave in the Network. This paper introduces a trusted path irrespective of the longest or the shortest path which is capable of detecting the malicious nodes in the Network. Further the performance of Trusted AODV and General AODV with malicious activities is analysed which results that the Trusted AODV detects the malicious nodes in the Network and its performance is better as compared to AODV giving satisfactory Results.

Abandoned Object Detection in Educational Institutes using Video Surveillance
Abstract: Surveillance cameras are video cameras used for the purpose of observing an area. Sensitive areas need to be observed continuously for security reasons. The security of these areas shall not be depending on the size of an area but, shall be considered on the high priority of security. Before few decades this task was done by the humans, but now it is not possible for human to keep watch day and night (24x7) on such areas. We all know that there is massive increase in theft in either in one or more ways. Human can easily be distracted and, a small distraction is sufficient for thieves to break the security. System is proposed and presented using our own data set captured in laboratory datasets. The proposed system works on QVGA (Quarter Video Graphics Array) resolution at which most CCTV (closed circuit television) cameras operate and uses a simple mathematical model for detection of human and object. Proposed work is a combination of base works as 1: Real time video feed. 2: Discover frame from the video after fixed time interval. 3: Dual time background subtraction algorithm which periodically updates two sets of background. 4: Deriving a reference image. 5: Maintaining a Buffered Background image/frame. 6: Blob detection. 7: Motion Tracking. 8: Object tracking. 9: Detection and maintaining log of and Alarm signalling. An algorithm for tracking of abandoned objects even under occlusion is also proposed.

Carry select adder using BEC and RCA
Abstract: DESIGN of power-efficient and high-speed data path logic systems are one of the most substantial areas of research in VLSI system design. In digital adders, the speed of addition is limited by the time required to propagate a carry through the adder. The sum for each bit position in an elementary adder is generated sequentially only after the previous bit position has been summed and a carry propagated into the next position. The Carry select adder (CSLA) is used in many computational systems to alleviate the problem of carry propagation delay by independently generating multiple carries and then select a carry to generate the sum . However, the CSLA is not area efficient because it uses multiple pairs of Ripple Carry Adders (RCA) to generate partial sum and carry by considering carry input , then the final sum and carry are selected by the multiplexers (mux). The basic idea of this work is to use Binary to Excess-1 Converter (BEC) instead of RCA in the regular CSLA to achieve high speed and low power consumption..

We have considered CBR and an Exponential Traffic Pattern (which is based on Exponential distribution). Simulations have been carried out by using Network Simulator Version 2.35 (NS-2) and its associated tools for analysis of results. Comparative analysis of simulation results includes the value of Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), Throughput and Normalized Routing Load (NRL). It is found that the Exponential Traffic pattern gives better results as comparative to CBR Traffic pattern.

A Survey on Triangle Area Map Based Multivariate Correlation Analysis to Detect Denial-Of Service Attack
Abstract: Well organized systems such as net servers, file servers, cloud computing etc… are now under serious attack from network attackers. Denial-of-service attack is the one of the most frequent and aggressive to computing systems. In this scheme we propose a procedure called multivariate correlation analysis to detect an exact traffic flow classification by extracting the geometrical correlation between known and unknown attacks. This system includes anomaly detection method for the detection of known and unknown Dos. Additionally Triangle Area Based Technique is used to speed up the process of Multivariate Correlation Analysis (MCA). Proposed system can be evaluated by using KDD cup dataset

A Web Search Engine-Based Approach to Measure Semantic Similarity between Words
Abstract: A web search engine is software code that is designed to search for information on the World Wide Web. The search results are generally presented in a line of results often referred to as search engine results pages (SERP's). The information may be a specialist in web pages, images, information and other types of files. Some search engines also mine data available in data basesor open directories. Semantic similarity or semantic relatedness is a concept whereby a set of documents or terms within term lists are assigned a metric based on the likeness of their meaning / semantic content. The existing technique implemented for the sematic similarity of the words is based on novel pattern extraction algorithm and a pattern clustering algorithm. Here we are implementing an efficient algorithm for the searching of the similarity of the words using Machine Learning based rule approach.

Design of a Low Power Clock Multi Band Network for Supplying the Multi Clock Domain Networks
Abstract: when working with IC’s most of the power will be consumed for making the IC in to active working state. This depends on the clock distribution networks. Because the clock signals have the high switching activity. Normally for a multi clock domain networks the power consumed by the clock signals is too high to lower this we generally use multiple PLL’s, in this project we aim for developing a low power single clock multiband network which will supply for the multi clock domain network. This design is highly useful for communication applications. A low power clock model network is designed for LAN using pulse-swallow topology and the design is modelled using Verilog simulated using Model sim and implemented in Xilinx.

Enhancing a Ranking System Practical Applications to Information Retrieval Systems and BCS Rankings
Abstract: The rankings of the members fora given domain, if provided, can be thought to be the efficient description of the domain and help us make decisions accordingly. For example, each web search engine like Google retrieves query- relevant documents and shows us highly ranked ones in ascending order of their ranks. However, if we have two or more rankers or ranking systems with their own expertise for one domain, we may be puzzled what to choose or how to fix their differences. In this paper, the issue of how to combine two experts’ rankings is treated. We suggest some methods of combining two different rankings. For practical applications, two domains were selected to test and validate our method. First, two different rankings generated by changing some portion of our information retrieval system were selected and our experiments show that the resulting average rank of top ten relevant documents, for example, was considerably improved. The second domain we tried may be thought to be almost improbable. The question is if American college BCS football ranking, officially published from the middle of the football season, can be modified to better predict the four week later BCS ranking itself. Our experiments show that some computer-based ranker help enhance the predictability of the future BCS ranking.

Penetration Testing
Abstract: Penetration tests are an excellent method for determining the strengths and weaknesses of a network consisting of computers and network devices. However, the process of performing a penetration test is composite, and without care can have disastrous effects on the systems being tested. The goal of this is not to cause damage, but more to identify attack surfaces, vulnerabilities, and other security weaknesses from the perspective of an attacker. Such testing can range across all aspects of a system; the areas of computer, operational, personnel, and physical security can all encompass potential weaknesses that a malicious attacker can use, and thus a penetration tester may examine. Depending on the organization's prime concern, risk assessment, and policies, some of these areas may be out of scope or not deemed as important, so a decreased scope penetration test may be conducted.

Speech Translation System for Vernacular Languages
Abstract: This paper explains the nascent stage of developing a personalized interpreter. We propose to develop a prototype which uses a speech processing hardware and on translators to provide the user with real time translation. Speech processing hardware works on the principle of „compare and forward‟, i.e., a database is already stored in the unit which is used for comparing with the input speech and the result is forwarded for further processing. The need arises from the inability of dictionaries and human translators to suit our needs for better communication. In this situation the prototype proposed will suffice the purpose reasonably well and minimize the communication inefficiencies.

A Navel design of UWB Antenna with multiple slots on patch for 5GHz band notch characteristics
Abstract: This paper represents a novel UWB antenna with a band elimination characteristic. In order to obtain band elimination characteristic, Multiple Slot inserted in the rectangular patch and I-shaped strip is inserted inside the I- shaped slot on the rectangular patch. The proposed antenna is designed on a GIL GML substrate with thickness of 0.762 mm and relative permittivity (𝜀𝑟 ) of 3.2. The size of our proposed antenna is 26 × 32 𝑚𝑚2, which results in desirable radiation characteristics. The proposed antenna design with optimal dimensions is fabricated and measured. The measurement shows that return loss is below -10dB within the desired frequency bandwidth from 2.75 GHz to upper 10.8GHz, whereas a notched bandwidth of 5.16 - 5.95GHz is obtained. Far-field radiation patterns and gain of the antenna are also studied in this paper. Good agreement has been found by comparing the results from the measured data and those simulated.

A Comprehensive Survey on Data Integrity Proving Schemes in Cloud Storage
Abstract: Cloud Computing is the technology which is gaining wide acceptance day by day .Cloud computing is a technology which provides different services like software as a service (Saas), Platform as a service (Paas) , Infrastructure as a service (Iaas). These services are provided through the internet. It is a challenge for computer user to store all the data that they have acquired because storage space is limited. So people prefer to buy hard disk and invest their money in it. Others use external devices like USB drives .But some prefer to store their data on cloud storage. There are many advantages of cloud storage such as easy scale up, easy scale down and many more. Along with advantages, it also brings some security related challenges. Clients move their data to remotely located server called cloud storage. But in cloud computing there is no provision to check the integrity of the data which is stored by the client. So there is need to overcome this challenge for efficient use of this technology. In this paper we are focusing on the basics of cloud storage, working of cloud storage system, various concepts related to data integrity like overview of data integrity, physical vs. logical integrity, Types of integrity constraints and survey on basic data integrity proving schemes. The basic data integrity proving schemes are Provable Data Possession (PDP) and Proof of Retrievability (PoR). On the basis of these schemes various techniques are proposed by different researchers. We also observe these techniques in this paper.

Optimal Fuzzy Logic Power Control in cognitive Radio A Comparative Study
Abstract: This paper presents the spectrum sharing network consisting of a pair of primary users (PUs) and a pair of cognitive users or secondary user (SUs) in fading wireless channels. Cognitive radio networks are the spectrum utilizing networks. When both the links (primary user link and secondary user link) utilized the spectrum simultaneously networks are called the spectrum sharing networks. During the spectrum sharing, the interference will occur at the primary user link and secondary user degrades the QoS of the primary user link due to same frequency band utilization from the PUs and SUs. The priority of the primary user’s spectrum utilization will be higher than secondary user’s spectrum utilization. This study discussed about the QoS assurance of primary users, improved the performance of the secondary users and minimization of bit rate in the spectrum sharing cognitive radio network.

Effect of a non-linearity on delays and velocities in a CRLH-MTM transmission line model
Abstract: The theme of this paper is to analyze the effect of a non-linearity (second order constitutive relationship between voltage and current in resistor, inductor and capacitor)) on phase delay and group delay for a unit cell of a conventional transmission line model and then by analyzing the phase and group velocities in a Composite Right Hand Left Hand Meta-material (CRLH-MTM) structure which is being used very extensively in the Transmission line (TL) theory for negative refractive index material realization. The complex propagation constant is determined for the non- linear transmission line model and it is observed that the non-linearity in the unit cell is producing the negative resistance which can be used in different electronic circuits, if the same non-linear devices are possible to be modelled from existing devices. Along with this, it is also observed that in order to remove the guard band that exists in the CRLH-MTM for supporting forward and backward waves, there has to be some non-linearity in the transmission line model which is a new finding after the study.

Secure and Privacy Data Sharing Using Attribute Oriented Authentication (AOA) and Attribute Oriented Transmission (AOT)-A Survey
Abstract: Many technologies are evolved on providing security to the cloud and its not possible to protect the whole cloud. Instead, we are focusing on providing security to data sharing terminology. In data sharing system, two important issues such as enforcement of access policies and support of policy updates is faced. One of the efficient cryptographic solution to solve these issue is XCP-ABE in which the user can define their own access policies and enforce these polices on the data to be distributed. Usually encryption and decryption is done by generating the private keys which is not suitable for data sharing scenarios. In proposed system, the encryption and decryption is done by providing additional secrets i.e..Generation of super keys. On observing the existing system it is found that, there are three major drawbacks such as Key escrow problem, invocation of users and lack of black box traceability which takes the advantages over the proposed one. This additional measure is an optional variant applicable to high sensitivity data subject to frequent access.

Accountable Contract Signing Protocol for Secure Data Sharing In Multiuser Untrusted Clouds
Abstract: Recent computing model that has become important is known as cloud computing which has various services like Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) and Mining as a Service (MaaS). Widely used service among them is the storage service. When a company outsources its data to cloud and the data owners are maintained in the form of groups and members, it is essential to have secure mechanisms in place as the groups are very dynamic. Secure and scalable access to the data by data owners is very important in this context. Every member in a group is able to access his data and he is treated as owner to that data. This member can switch to different group when he moves to other team in future. This way there are instances in which group members move groups and the change dynamics are more. In this scenario it is challenging job to maintain groups and share data in privacy preserving fashion. Recently Recently Liu et al. proposed a scheme for secure multi-owner data sharing. In this paper we implemented an application that simulates the environment where groups and members are dynamically managed with security aspects fulfilled. The empirical results reveal that the application is useful and can be explored to use in real cloud.

Hand Gesture Recognition for Mute People
Abstract: More than 500 million people of the world suffer from some physical, sensory or mental disability. Often their lives are handicapped by physical and social barriers which hamper their full participation from society and the enjoyment of equal rights and opportunities. Many mute people use sign language. Sign language uses gestures instead of sound to convey meaning, simultaneously combining hand shapes, orientations and movement of the hands, arms or body and facial expressions to express fluidly a speaker’s thoughts. Signs are used to communicate words and sentences to audience. This paper focuses on developing an algorithm for recognition of hand gestures with reasonable accuracy, where the input to the pattern recognition system will be given from the hand. It recognizes the pattern and the display the pattern in the form of the text. The info giving by camera are collected and stored in the database. The exact meaning of the information is matched with the samples stored previously in the database and is printed. The image is processed considering the parameters like the number of fingers used, the angles between them and hsv value of that which is matched with the saturation image and then the information is displayed in the form of text.

User Authentication by Typing Pattern for Computer and Computer based devices
Abstract: User access to the most computer systems is secured through possession of a login ID and password combination. Once the login details have been exposed, an unauthorized user has complete access to the computer system. This paper focuses on a powerful authentication system that captures the typing style of a user and detects the change of user based on the typing pattern. The basic idea is to compare a reference set of typing characteristics of the authenticated user with a test set of a user operating the system. The difference between these two sets should be below a certain threshold or else the user change is detected. Moreover on the basis of training sample it has been found that flight time give much better authenticated results when compared with dwell time and words per minute.

A Practical Approach of Application Level Caching for Increase E-Business Performance
Abstract: Today, the E-Business faces the many problems in terms of efficiency, reliability because of large data has been placed on the servers and the client are using such data at the same and frequently and it also very difficult to manage the E-Business due to these issues. One solution is middle-Tier Database. For E-Commerce websites there are mainly two issues, cost and time. As the numbers of users increase, performance related issues needs to be solved by using caching concepts. In E-Commerce websites dynamic pages are used to provide wider range of interaction than static HTML pages. At the same time, much performance related issues arises by using dynamic page generation technologies because of load placed on server-side resources. For many web applications system support for caching is insufficient. This Paper provides a new way of Application level caching to improve performance of web applications. Concept of shared and unshared caching has been used in proposed method. This paper has been developed the algorithm for demonstrate the actual working of the proposed work.

A Review Prevent SQL Injection Attacks Using IPS
Abstract: Database is the key component for store the information in organizations. The information of organization should be secured from the intruders so that the information should be confidential and available at the right time and no wrong operation should be executed. Database information is the crucial part as it needs more security because this contains the password, user information, even it can be in encrypted form but intruder can alter the information or delete it. This paper has been considered the scenario of company where the multiple users can perform different operations and there is need to traverse the operations of the user. Several mechanisms needed to protect data, such as authentication, user privileges, encryption, and auditing, have been implemented in commercial DBMS. But still there are some ways through which systems may be affected by malicious transactions. This paper has been proposed the IPS technique to prevent the intruder’s attack.

A Practical Approach for SQL Injection Prevention Attacks Using IPS
Abstract: This paper has been proposed the IPS technique to prevent the intruder‟s attack. Database is the key component for store the information in organizations. Database information is the crucial part as it needs more security because this contains the password, user information, even it can be in encrypted form but intruder can alter the information or delete it. This paper has been considered the scenario of company where the multiple users can perform different operations and there is need to traverse the operations of the user. The IPS technique has been proposed to prevent the intruder‟s attack. The Query weight concept has been used and greater weight queries will be executed only when the user is provided by the OTP and the malicious transactions should not be executed. The malicious transaction is that transaction which the user is not authorized to perform. The history of transactions with user id is also tracked for advance analysis but it would require more memory. The SQL Injection attack has been prevented and there will be no loss of information. The proposed approach has been implemented in ASP.net using backend SQL Server 2008.

Signal to Noise Ratio Improvement of Lower Atmospheric Signals Using Wavelets
Abstract: Lower Atmospheric Wind Profiler (LAWP) is used to provide continuous high resolution wind measurements in the lower atmosphere. Signal processing of this atmospheric radar is necessary to estimate the wind profiler moments and signal to noise ratio (SNR). The signals, which are processed in the present work has been obtained from the LAWP at National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL), Gadanki, India. SNR computation is an important parameter in signal processing. This paper discusses improvement of SNR using wavelets for LAWP signals. In this paper wavelet denoising is used to improve SNR. Denoising is performed by selecting a DB10 wavelet. SNR for this data is computed for original signal and de-noised signal. Results show that there is 7dB improvement in SNR after denoising using DB10 wavelet for LAWP signals.

Study and Performance of AMR Codecs for GSM
Abstract: In wireless communication system, limited bandwidth and power is the primary restriction. The existing wireless systems involved in transmission of speech visualized that efficient and effective methods be developed to transmit and receive the same while maintaining quality of speech, especially at the receiving end. Speech coding technique is a material of research for the scientific and academic community since the era of digitization (digital). Amongst all elements of the communication systems (transmitter, channel and receiver), transmission channel is the most critical and plays a key role in the transmission and reception of information. The quality of speech at receiver end decides by channel conditions. Modelling a channel is a multifarious task. A number of techniques are adopted to alleviate the effect of the channel. Adaptive Multi Rate is one of the techniques that neutralize the deleterious effect of the channel on speech. This technique utilizes variable bit rate that dynamically switches to specific modes of operation depending upon the channel conditions. For example, Low bit rate mode of operation is selected in adverse channel conditions, this helps to provide more error protection bits for channel coding and vice versa. Therefore, in this paper, application of Code Excited Linear Prediction (CELP) source codec on speech followed by AMR codec is studied. Further, higher the bit rate used, the better is the quality of speech. In this paper apart from speech codec about AMR is also studied that why the AMR is proposed for the GSM, how the bits rates are reduced in AMR, operation of AMR and other applications of AMR.

Unique Key Using Encryption and Decryption of Image
Abstract: Image data security is the essential portion in communication and multi media world. During storing and sharing, avoid third party access of data is the challenge one. Providing security of data is the clever work and art also. Many protection algorithms are used in recent years. Protection may be given of a data is converting the original in to some unknown form, signals, sketch etc., which is not understand by any one. Cryptography is the best technique of image data security. In Greek, crypto refers „hidden‟ and graphy refers „script‟. Cryptography has two processes namely encryption and decryption. Encryption achieves the conversion by possessing a key of original data into unreadable form called encoding. Restoring of encrypted data in to original is decoding or decryption. Key, code or password is the vital role in cryptography. This paper presents the performance of encryption and decryption of an image using a single key algorithm and tested on some images and shows fine results.

LDWS for Smart Vehicles Using Image Processing Based On Hough Transform
Abstract: This paper proposes a method for monitoring the position of a vehicle on a lane. Cameras are mounted on the sides of vehicle and focus downwards on the road to capture images containing the lane lines and wheels/vehicle boundaries. The Hough transform (HT) is employed to detect the lane from the captured images. The correlation of sequential images and the constraints of lane lines and cameras are used to minimize the region of interest (ROI) in both image space and HT space, which increases the capture accuracy and decrease the computation complexity. The lane position monitoring system is assumed to be useful for unmanned vehicles, and can also provide warnings in normal vehicles to enhance driving safety. The experiments show the method is effective on various roads and driving situations.

An Artificial intelligence approach to detection of high impedance fault
Abstract: This paper presents a new method to detect high impedance faults in radial distribution systems. Magnitudes of third and fifth harmonic components of voltages and currents are used as a feature vector for fault discrimination. The proposed methodology uses a back propagation neural network as a classifier for identifying high impedance arc- type faults. The network learns from the data obtained from simulation of a simple radial system under different fault and system conditions. Compared to a feed-forward neural network, a properly tuned back propagation network gives quicker response.

Spectrum Sensing & Channel state estimation for cognitive radio using Pointing Vector Theorem
Abstract: This report present an overview of cognitive radio and cognitive radio network. The report list enabling technique for cognitive radio and describe the state-of-art in cognitive radio standards, regulation, product and research. The availability of spectrum holes, i.e., frequency band assigned to a primary user but that are vacant in a given place at a given time, can be estimated with spectrum sensing technique, such as energy detection & feature detection. When little or no knowledge of the primary user signal is available, energy detection is useful while feature detection can exploit a priori information about the used waveforms. We have studied the performance of an energy detection scheme in terms of probability of detection and probability of false alarm without and with cooperation between the nodes. Cooperative detection by combining the observation of several cognitive radio node can be used to improve the performance of spectrum sensing. The result include both analysis and computer simulation using Matlab.
