Abstract: Unprecedented work in the field of smart cities has been done recently. Improving the quality of life for residents in smart cities is the goal of their development. Cloud computing and Internet of Things technologies have been used to accomplish that goal. One of the most exciting new technologies that can provide its customers with a plethora of beneficial services is blockchain technology. It is an immutable, programmable digital register designed mainly for digital currencies such as Bitcoin, that is used to record virtual assets with some kind of value.
