Abstract: Cloud-assisted mobile health (mHealth) monitoring, which applies the prevailing mobile co mmun ications and cloud computing technologies to provide feedback decision support, has been considered as a revolutionary approach to improving the quality of healthcare service while lo wering the healthcare cost. Unfortunately, it also poses a serious risk on both clients’ privacy and intellectual property of monitoring service providers, which could deter the wide adoption of mHealth technology. In this paper we discuss about attribute-based access control and a new privacy- preserving scalar product computation (PPSPC) technique, and allows a medical user to decide who can participate in the opportunistic computing to ensure privacy.

Keywords: CAM, Mobile-Healthcare emergency, opportunistic computing, user-centric privacy access control, PPSPC
