Optimal Resource Allocation for Wireless Networks with Inter-Cell Interference
P.KARTHIK, G.KUMARAN P. G. Scholar, Assistant Professor S K P Engineering College, Tiruvannamalai, India
Abstract: The paper describes a Resource allocation is an important issue in orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) systems. For multicell systems, the interference across different cells makes the optimization of resource allocation difficult. While inter cell interference (ICI) for the downlink of multi-cell systems in general and orthogonal frequency division multiple access networks, the uplink has received less attention. Inter-cell interference coordination (ICIC) schemes can be viewed as a scheduling strategy used to limit the inter-cell interference such that cell-edge users in different cells preferably are scheduled on complementary parts of the spectrum when needed. The common theme of ICIC avoidance schemes is to apply restrictions to the usage of downlink resources such time/frequency and/or transmit power resources. Such coordination of restrictions will provide an opportunity to limit the interference generation in the area of the cellular network. Accordingly, Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio (SINR) can be improved at the receivers in the coverage area, which will provide capability for increased (cell-edge) data-rates over the coverage area, or increased coverage for given data-rates.
Web Based Keystroke Dynamics Application for Identifying Emotional State
PRAGYA SHUKLA, RINKY SOLANKI Institute of Engineering and Technology, DAVV Indore, India
Abstract: Emotion is one of the important features of human being that makes them different from machines. Traditionally, today‘s computer system do not incorporate any emotional exchange in the decision making process. If we could develop an emotional aware system which can interact with human involving emotions then using machines could be more effective and friendly. Conventional emotional identification methods (facial expressional analysis, voice intonation analysis, thermal imaging of the face) use intrusive, lab-based, and expensive tools which are unsuitable for real-world situations. A possible solution for emotion identification without these drawbacks is to determine user emotion by analyzing the rhythm of their typing pattern on a keyboard. This paper presents techniques to recognize the emotional state of the user through analyzing the keystroke patterns of the user.

AMLAN RAYCHAUDHURI, MALLIKA DE Asst. Prof., Dept. of CSE, B. P. Poddar Institute of Management & Technology, Kolkata, India Sr. Scientific Officer, Dept. of Engg. & Tech. Studies, University of Kalyani, Kalyani, India
Abstract: In this paper, a novel approach is proposed for moving object detection and tracking. The main aim of this paper is to device a method by which moving objects can be detected in a video. A video stream is divided into several frames and our goal is achieved by identifying the moving portion which has changed over time. Here we used the temporal segmentation. In temporal segmentation, the absolute difference of two video image frames is segmented into changed and unchanged regions. We have divided the difference image frame into two clusters, one represents the changed region and the other represents the unchanged portion. Here changed region means moving object. We have achieved this by applying Genetic Algorithms (GA) using K-means clustering technique on the difference image frame. The proposed method is successfully tested over two video sequences.

An Approach Using Imbalanced Data Classification for Accurate Detection of Roads
NEETHA JOSEPH, ARUN KUMAR M N PG Scholar, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, FISAT, Ernakulam, India Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, FISAT, Ernakulam, India
Abstract: Reliably extracting information from satellite and aerial imagery is a difficult problem with many practical applications. Extraction of objects such roads, buildings etc from high resolution satellite imagery is an important task in urban planning, military applications etc. This is a difficult task because of occlusions, shadows, and other non-road objects. This paper proposes a method for road detection. It also highlights the importance of the imbalanced data classification in detecting the road in a complex scenario. First, the spectral angle of multi spectral input image is calculated and then dog filtering is applied. Then this image is subjected to morphological operations and area based filtering. At this stage, there may be some noises like buildings, rivers etc. To remove these noises, imbalanced data classification can be used.

Design and Implementation of Data Protection as a Service (DPaaS) for Cloud Computing
MEENA.S, ASHOK.J, SWARAJYAM Student, CSE, Gurunanak Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, India Associate Professor, CSE, Gurunanak Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, India Student, SE, SNIST, Hyderabad, India
Abstract: Cloud computing technology has emerged to a great extent and people have realized the benefits of it. The commoditization of computing resources has become popular and there are many service providers available. As a new computing model, the cloud computing technology bestows plethora of benefits including the cost effective outsourcing of data. Cloud provides unlimited storage space without the need for capital investment in pay per use fashion. However, the data is stored in cloud servers that are treated as “untrusted”. This is because the cloud servers are accessed through Internet and they are remote in nature. There are many security concerns expressed by cloud users with respect to the protection of data. If every cloud user has to take responsibility of security of his data, it is not an easy job. At the same time if every cloud service provider has different security mechanisms for protecting data, it also implies reinventing the wheel. A common protection service can help masses (cloud users in abundance) to have protection as a service which is part of cloud computing. In this paper we attempt to realize such service which is based on the idea provided by Song et al. We built a prototype application that demonstrates the proof of concept. The empirical results revealed that the data protection as a service can dramatically reduce the pre-application deployment effort required in order to ensure the data of cloud users is protected.

Abstract: In this paper a trend shift from the microelectronics to nanoelectronics has been discussed. Nanoelectronics is is the science which deals with the electronic components manufactured and engineered at a molecular scale. The electronics has been the main driving force for all the technological advancement taking place in the sciences. The research and development industry has presently been relying on the silicon based technology which was working at micro scale. The miniaturization of this technology is governed by the famous Moore’s law. But with the advent in time, silicon based technology has reached its maximum limits of the reduction in size. Silicon encounters various physical and interaction problems due to which it cannot be used at a small scale of the order of nanometer. Hence this pushed the electronics towards the research of different materials which could be used at nano level. This paper talks about various candidate technologies that were approached for the purpose of miniaturization. It tells about the pros and cons for the every candidate technologies which were researched to succeed the throne of the present day silicon based technology. These nano materials suggested are smaller in size and exhibit properties of self assembly and self recognition. Hence this makes these nano materials to be used in the bottom to up nanotechnology technique.
Comparative study between Selection Mapping Technique (SLM) and Partial Transmission Sequence (PTS) for PAPR reduction in OFDM signals
MD. KISLU NOMAN, MD. MOJAHIDUL ISLAM, MD. SHAFIUL AZAM, NUR HOSSAIN KHAN Lecturer, Dept. of CSE, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Pabna, Bangladesh Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE, Islamic, University, Kushtia, Bangladesh Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE, Pabna University of Science and Technology, Pabna, Bangladesh M.Sc and B.Sc , Dept. of CSE, Islamic, University, Kushtia, Bangladesh
Abstract: Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a very attractive technique for high-data-rate transmission in wireless and wired applications. One major disadvantage of OFDM is that the time domain OFDM signal which is a sum of several sinusoids leads to high peak to average power ratio (PAPR). Number of techniques has been proposed in the literature for reducing the PAPR in OFDM systems. In this paper two techniques proposed for reducing the PAPR are Selected Mapping (SLM) and Partial Transmit Sequence (PTS). The reduction of peak to average transmit power ratio of multicarrier modulation systems, called selected mapping, which is appropriate for a wide range of applications. Significant gains can be achieved by selected mapping where as complexity remains quite moderate. The partial transmit sequences (PTS) scheme achieves an excellent peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction performance of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals at the cost of exhaustively searching all possible rotation phase combinations, resulting in high computational complexity. The simulation results show that the performance of SML and PTS and compare between them.
Wireless LAN (WLAN) Spoofing Attack- A Proposed Detection Method in Victim Silent Case
SHIKHA GOEL Dept. of CSE, Mewar University, Mewar
Abstract: Spoofing makes the task of identification and tracking back of the perpetrator / initiator in Cyber Crimes very difficult, e.g. those relating to denial of service, session hijacking, and address masquerading attacks by changing its network identifiers in WLANs. In such a scenario, spoof detection methods have gain wide attention. One way to prevent from spoofing is to authenticate the frames. However, in 802.11 WLANs, authentication and encryption for management and control frames is not provided. Further, present MAC spoofing detection techniques bring out large number of false positives. This paper presents the proposed method of WLAN MAC spoofing attack in Victim Silent Case. One way hash function method is used along with an extra field named claimed identity field. The proposed method can detect the MAC spoofed packet having arrival time close to genuine packet. The method is analysed in false positive and false negative situation. By way of analysis of results, an outline of future work is also suggested in the concluding remarks.

A Secure and Efficient Method for Embedding Audio Secret Data on Audio Host using APPM and KBRP
GEETHU GOPAN, BHRAGURAM T M, DR. VARGHESE PAUL MTech Student, CSE, Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kalady, India Asst.Professor, IT, Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kalady, India Dean, CS IT, Cochin University for Science and Technology, Cochin, India
Abstract: This paper proposes an effective method for hiding audio secret data on audio host using the principle of Adaptive Pixel Pair Matching (APPM) and based on KBRP. APPM is a data hiding method. It is based on principle of Pixel Pair Matching (PPM). PPM is a pixel pair adjustment process. In this initially the host audio is sampled and convert into matrix. The secret audio is divided into stream of bits. Then a pair (a, b) of host audio is selected randomly and modulus distance „D‟ between secret data „Sd‟ and f (a, b) is calculated. Then reference co-ordinate (a, b) is replaced with searched co-ordinate (a+aD, b+bD) inorder to conceal the secret data. A key based random permutation is used inorder to enhance security. KBRP method generates one permutation for a specific size from given key. The generation process consists of three steps namely initialization, elimination and filling. LSB embedding method and Optimal Pixel Adjustment Process (OPAP) were the older methods which employs one pixel as an embedding unit. Exploiting Modification Direction (EMD), Diamond Encoding (DE) and APPM are the variations of PPM. EMD cause distortions to secret data. DE can conceal large amount of data to cover images. But payload of DE is determined by selected notational system. The proposed method causes lesser distortions, provides more security for secret data and exhibits better performance. Moreover this is an effective method which makes secret audio indistinguishable from host audio and secret audio can be correctly retrieved.

Abstract: Wireless sensor network is deployed and operated in an unattended and hostile environment to monitor events , produce and transmit data. Nodes in the sensor network could be a gateway, base station, storage node, or querying user. Because of the ease of deployment, the low cost of sensor nodes and the capability of self-organization, sensor network is often used to perform monitoring and data collection tasks. Wireless sensors networks finds its major applications in Military and defence networks . When it is deployed in such an environment, it lacks physical protection and is subject to node compromise. After compromising one or multiple sensor nodes, an adversary may launch various attacks [1] to disrupt the inter-network communication.

Abstract: The Domain Name System (DNS) is the most crucial component of today‟s Internet. DNS is a service which translates human readable domain names into IP addresses and acts like the telephone directory of internet. Just as a phone number such as 0181-2226715 is mapped into a name in telephone directory, similarly every device on internet is identified by unique id known as IP address and are mapped to human readable names known as host names such as
generally it is the first service used for accessing a web page. Performance enhancement of internet and effective use of bandwidth has been a major concern for researchers in the field of computer networks. In this study concept of having a local DNS in the network is used so that impact of Local DNS on the bandwidth can be studied. In this study, Network Simulator (NS2) is used to analyze the behavior of network when local DNS is used. Two different scenarios are created in the simulation one without local DNS and the other having local DNS. NS2 traces the flow of packets and generates graphs, from which impact of local DNS will be studied.

Abstract: With an ever growing amount of video content available, digital TV, easy access to the Internet and the availability of cheap mass storage there is a huge demand for efficient indexing and content-based retrieval on large video collections. The major challenge in video processing is the amount of data that has to be processed. The huge volume of data that undergoes processing can be reduced to a large extent. This is achieved by eliminating the redundant frames of the video by using efficient key frame extraction techniques. Key frames present the most salient features of the shot eliminating any redundancy. In this paper edge change ratio algorithm is used for detecting shots of the video and key frames are extracted from these shots. The extracted key frames represent the video as a whole and can be used in variety of applications such as content based video retrieval, video summarization etc.

Abstract: Cloud computing, is an emerging computing paradigm, enabling users to remotely store their data in a server and provide services on-demand. In cloud computing cloud users and cloud service providers are almost certain to be from different trust domains. Data security and privacy are the critical issues for remote data storage. A secure user enforced data access control mechanism must be provided before cloud users have the liberty to outsource sensitive data to the cloud for storage. With the emergence of sharing confidential corporate data on cloud servers, it is imperative to adopt an efficient encryption system with a fine-grained access control to encrypt outsourced data. Attribute-based encryption is a public key based encryption that enables access control over encrypted data using access policies and ascribed attributes. In this paper, we are going to analysis various schemes for encryption and possible solutions for their limitations ,that consist of Attribute based encryption (ABE),KP-ABE, CP-ABE, Attribute-based Encryption Scheme with Non-Monotonic Access Structures, HABE, MA-ABE.

Abstract: We propose a vision based Hand gesture Recognition system that recognizes hand gesture in midair, especially for physically challenged people, and provides recognized character or number as text and corresponding sound. This system also detects face of the gesture requesting person, so as to satisfy the needs of the person. This system provides a convenient and easy to use human computer interaction (HCI) system for especially visually or physically challenged people. The system does not demand on sensors or markers attached to the users and allow unrestricted character and symbol input from any position. It is the result of combining hand gesture recognition based on Centroids with real time 3D hand tracking and face recognition using PCA. We evaluated the system for both quantitative and qualitative aspects. The system achieves recognition rates of 86:15% for character and 97:54% for symbol recognition. Limitations are due to slow and lower resolution cameras or physical strain of training dataset. Overall, the proposed hand gesture recognition system provides an easy to use and accurate text input modality without placing restrictions on the users.

Abstract: A mobile ad hoc network is a network with many free or autonomous nodes comprised of mobile devices or mobile pieces that arrange themselves in different ways operating without specific network administration. Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is unique by virtue of its self configuring and optimizing nature. Due to its flexible nature MANET is exposed to different types of attacks, mainly routing attacks. Attack Prevention methods like encryption, intrusion detection system, intrusion prevention system can be used for reducing certain attack possibilities. An Intrusion detection system monitors and analyses the activities of the nodes and determines the performance with the security rules. It also alerts the neighboring nodes if irregularity has been detected in the performance of a node. An intrusion Response System recovers the affected services and reconfigures the system. As topology of MANET changes continuously achieving security in these networks is very difficult.

Abstract: OPG images are critical for diagnosis and study of disease. It is hard to detect affected area by viewing/seeing the x-ray image. So patient has to go with different test to get that affected area which takes few days for processing. Again to detect it has to concern with the specialist and the other procedure. This process is expensive which cannot afford by economically weak people. Manual segmentation of OPG is not only demanding for experts but also inherently subjective and excessively time consuming for clinical use and different annotators often yield different results. To address these difficulties, different approaches for automated segmentation of OPG have been tried with varying levels of success. So this paper aims to provision of s/w or tool for segmenting the affected area may become a good solution which is economically feasible.

Abstract: In CBIR (Content-Based Image Retrieval), graphical features such as shape, color and texture are extracted to depict images. Each of the features is represented using one or more visual feature descriptors. An image mining using Content based Image Retrieval (CBIR) is an automatic process to search relevant images based on user input. A Global color Descriptor color distribution over an entire image. It is defined in the hue-saturation-value (HSV) color space and produces a 256 bin color histogram is a four-bit integer value, and then encoded by canny’s Edge detection. Similarity measure is also very essential part of CBIR to find the closeness of the query image with the database images. We have used two similarity measures namely Euclidean distance (ED) and sum of precision and recall. The overall performance of retrieval of the algorithm has been measured by average precision and recall performance.

Abstract: CORDIC is an acronym for Co-ordinate Rotation Digital Computers and was derived by Volder[1] in late 1950‟s for the purpose of calculating trigonometric functions. It is widely used in the computing of elementary functions and digital signal processing applications[4], particularly where large amounts of rotation operations are necessary. The original algorithm describes the rotation of 2-D vector which can be applied in applications such as DSP (for Fourier Transforms, Digital Filters)[10] computer graphics and Robotics. CORDIC processing offers high computational rates making it attractive to applications such as computer graphics where a combination of scaling and rotations are required in real time. CORDIC is also attractive to Robotics[7] since the fundamental operation is co-ordinate transformation[2]. However it could be used for more computationally intensive processes such as motion planning [3]and collision detection.Array imaging [3]typically involves complex signal processing[8] which may require many computationally intensive matrix operations[8]. As intended by Jack E. Volder [1] the CORDIC Algorithm only performs shift and add operations and is therefore easy to implement and resource friendly. However, when implementing the CORDIC algorithm one can choose between various design methodologies and must balanced circuit complexity with respect to performance. It avoids the use of traditional multiplier and accumulator unit [MAC unit] which generally is the bottleneck for the faster systems. This paper attempts to explorer FPGA implementation of CORDIC algorithm using word serial architecture.

Abstract: Error-correction codes are the codes used to correct the errors occurred during the transmission of the data in the unreliable communication mediums. The idea behind these codes is to add redundancy bits to the data being transmitted so that even if some errors occur due to noise in the channel, the data can be correctly received at the destination end. Bose, Ray- Chaudhuri, Hocquenghem (BCH)codes are one of the error-correcting codes. The BCH decoder consists of four blocks namely syndrome block, IBM block, chien search block and error correction block. This paper describes a new method for error detection in syndrome and chien search block of BCH decoder. The proposed syndrome block is used to reduce the number of computation by calculating the even number syndromes from the corresponding odd number syndromes. The new factorization method used to implement the algorithm of chien search block of enhanced BCH decoder reduces the number of components required. Thus, a new model of BCH decoder is proposed to reduce the area and simplify the computational scheduling of both syndrome and chien search blocks without parallelism leading to high throughput. The enhanced chase BCH decoder is designed using hardware description language called Verilog and synthesized in Xilinx ISE 13.2.
A Survey on Machine Learning Techniques for Intrusion Detection Systems
JAYVEER SINGH, MANISHA J.NENE Department of Computer Engineering, DIAT, Pune, India
Abstract: The rapid development of computer networks in the past decades has created many security problems related to intrusions on computer and network systems. Intrusion Detection Systems IDSs incorporate methods that help to detect and identify intrusive and non-intrusive network packets. Most of the existing intrusion detection systems rely heavily on human analysts to analyze system logs or network traffic to differentiate between intrusive and non-intrusive network traffic. With the increase in data of network traffic, involvement of human in the detection system is a non-trivial problem. IDS’s ability to perform based on human expertise brings limitations to the system’s capability to perform autonomously over exponentially increasing data in the network. However, human expertise and their ability to analyze the system can be efficiently modeled using soft-computing techniques. Intrusion detection techniques based on machine learning and soft- computing techniques enable autonomous packet detections. They have the potential to analyze the data packets, autonomously. These techniques are heavily based on statistical analysis of data. The ability of the algorithms that handle these data-sets can use patterns found in previous data to make decisions for the new evolving data-patterns in the network traffic. In this paper, we present a rigorous survey study that envisages various soft-computing and machine learning techniques used to build autonomous IDSs. A robust IDSs system lays a foundation to build an efficient Intrusion Detection and Prevention System IDPS.

Abstract: Data mining is the process of extracting knowledge from various databases. For security reasons organizations may partition their data horizontally or vertically. Another situation is hospitals maintaining sensitive information about patients. This can also be treated as horizontal partitioning of data if all the hospitals maintain data in the same format. Secure multiparty technique is a cryptographic method which can be used to derive useful results from partitioned data bases without violating the privacy of individuals or organizations. This paper describes a method for finding a rough set concept called reduct set from the partitioned databases using secure multiparty technique. From this reduct set, rules are generated using Naïve Bayesian algorithm. This paper also describes attribute reduction technique for horizontally partitioning databases .Generally it is necessary to implement data preprocessing operations on the data bases. This paper also describes an enhanced Transitive Closure algorithm for data cleaning.

MRS SMITA KAWACHALE, DR. J.S.CHITODE Research Scholar, Electronics Department, Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Pune, India Honorary Professor, Electronics Department, Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Pune, India
Abstract: The field of text to speech (TTS) synthesis has been rapidly developing with widespread applications. There is a great demand for text to speech synthesis for Indian languages. TTS in English and world’s most used languages are been developed already. The proposed work is for Text to Speech conversion for Marathi language. This TTS is capable of speaking Marathi text. It is using ‘Hybrid Syllabic Approach’ where it forms and speaks new words from the syllables derived from the existing words in the database. Syllabic based speech synthesis is based on Consonant Vowel (CV) structure rules. An optimized soft cutting (segmentation) approach is followed for more naturalness and improved context based database. The proposed work focuses on improving naturalness of TTS using context based segmentation. Context based segmentation is based on syllable position (I-Initial, M-Medium, F-Final). The proposed work focuses on position dependent (I/M/F) speech synthesis. Concatenation of position dependent syllable may result in less spectral mismatch (concatenation cost) and give more natural sounding audio output. By carrying out this spectral analysis it is possible to improve the naturalness and overall performance of TTS. Spectral mismatch reduction is carried out with different Time and Frequency domain parameters. The performance of proposed method is evaluated using Subjective and Objective validation methods.

Abstract: This Palm print recognition implements many of matching characteristics as of finger print recognition and both biometrics are represented by the information present on the friction ridge impression. Palm prints differ from finger prints in a way since they contain many features and they have more discriminative regions than fingerprints. Because palm prints are both unique and permanent, they have used over a century as a trusted form of identification .Existing research on palm prints was based on low resolution and by this we can only identify the creases of a palm. The proposed system is based on High resolution images and by this we can able to identify the ridge features. Overcoming these issues many palm print systems have been proposed and are becoming a challenging task in criminal and forensic applications. An efficient Palm print recognition system has to be designed with increased matching accuracy and hence with more efficiency in forensic applications. The absolute aim of this project is an attempt to design such a system that can bring out an efficient authentication system for Palm print recognition.

ABHINAV KUMAR, HEMANT PUROHIT M.tech Student JIET, Jodhpur, India Associate Professor (EEE), JIET-SETG, Jodhpur, Imdia
Abstract: The Mobility in wireless cellular communication systems is its backbone so as to enhance the quality of service and maintain the continuous service. Handoff is an important task in maintaining the continuity of call in cellular systems and its failure can result in ongoing call termination. So handoffs are necessary for providing an enhanced QoS (Quality of Service) to users and provide a ubiquitous coverage. In order to successfully implement the handoff process, the system designers make a proper optimum signal level at which point handoff will initiate. During the handoff process some parameters like relative signal strength, relative signal strength with threshold, relative signal strength with hysteresis and relative signal strength with hysteresis and threshold are to be considered carefully. So this paper shows the brief description about the different handoff techniques in cellular systems moreover it compares all the handoff strategies on the basis of execution time, S/I ratio, RSS (Relative Signal Strength), call handling difficulty, handoff made and generation methods. Handoff strategies are very used in wireless communication where it can be know that which handoff strategy is not using in very efficient manner and it can also find the brief comparison between all handoff strategies which are used in mobile communication.

Multipath FTP and Stream Transmission Analysis using the MPT Software Environment
BÉLA ALMÁSI, SZABOLCS SZILÁGYI Associate professor, Faculty of Informatics, University of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary Assistant, Faculty of Informatics, University of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary
Abstract: The currently used standard Internet communication is restricted to use a single path between the endpoints in a communication session. In the January of 2013 the Multipath TCP technology was established by IETF in order to open the possibility of the multiple path usage. Performance measurements proof that MPTCP efficiently aggregates the paths’ throughput. The MPTCP technology works in the Transport layer, and the application must use TCP protocol. In this paper we introduce a new multipath solution technology: the MPT software environment works in the Network layer, so it allows the usage of the UDP protocol in the Transport layer (e.g. for voice or video stream transmission purpose). We created a four path laboratory environment to measure the performance of the MPT tool in the case of file transfer and multimedia content (stream) transmission. The measurement results show that the MPT software library efficiently aggregates the available throughput values of the paths in the case of file transfer and media transfer. For media transfer keeping the jitter at a low level value is also important. Our measurements show, that the jitter value is low in the MPT multipath environment if the aggregated paths’ throughput is roughly the same, but it will increase when the speed of the paths are different.

Abstract: Cloud computing’s multi-tenancy feature, which provides privacy, security and access control challenges, because of sharing of physical resources among untrusted tenants. In order to achieve safe storage, policy based file access
encryption technique with key management should be applied before outsourcing the data. In this paper we implemented secure cloud storage by providing access to the files with the policy based file access using Attribute Based Encryption (ABE) scheme with RSA key public-private key combination. Private Key is the combination of the user’s credentials. So that high security will be achieved. Time based file Revocation scheme is used for file assured deletion. When the time limit of the file expired, the file will be automatically revoked and cannot be accessible to anyone in future. Manual Revocation also supported. Policy based file renewal is proposed. The Renewal can be done by providing the new key to the existing file, will remains the file until the new time limit reaches.

Abstract: This research paper is based on the concept of automatic ticket vending machine by using RFID and Zigbee technique. In order to ensure the passenAger journey with no quarrels and mesh we employ this ticket friend solution that replaces the traditional paper ticketing by RFID tickets and vouchers, vended through automated machine using smart cards, which improves the convenience and security of transaction. Ticket friend solution through automated machine enables the passenger to predetermine the transport details. In this automated system we replace the traditional ticket system by smart card that contains all details of the user including bank account information. which is similar to the atm card. This automatic ticket vending machine consists of display which shows the availability of buses for all destinations. The person can find out the destination place by pressing the buttons available on that machine with the help of zigbee. If the location is selected then the availability of buses along with the time is displayed. If the people confirm to go in certain bus, by using smart card the person can receive the tickets employing RFID technique and by showing the ticket in front of the bus the door opens automatically and after some predetermined seconds it gets closed. If the person is supposed to consume alcohol that is detected with the help of alcohol sensor and that person is not permitted inside the bus.Voice GPS is placed Inside the bus and the display shows the route map. For that PIC microcontroller is already pre-programmed to do the operations. By using this we can minimize manpower in buses and ticket counters, predetermining of the bus can be done to find the destination exactly, safe journey can be assured without any disturbance and systembased booking for easy usage. Voice talking GPS proposed in the transport make the passenger to identify their departing location.

Abstract: The process which identifies the records that refers to the same entity in data storage is known as record deduplication. UDD can effectively identify duplicates of different web databases. Initially from the non duplicate record set, the two different classifiers, a Weighted WCSS is used for deduplication. The approach joins different pieces of attribute with similarity function extracted from the data content to produce a deduplication function that able to identify presence of replicas. The main goal of this paper is to promote a method that finds a proper combination of the proper pieces of attribute with likeness function. In the existing approaches optimization is less. The proposed system has adapted the firefly algorithm for record duplication. The structure distributes many similarities with evolutionary computation techniques such as GP and SVM based approaches. The experimental result was done by comparing the proposed algorithm with other two existing approaches machine algorithm.

Abstract: A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is an infrastructure less and autonomous network where a set of nodes are connected by wireless links where each node works both as a router and an end system. Due to vulnerable features of MANET it is prone to several attacks from insider as well as outsider. Routing is one of the most basic networking functions in mobile ad hoc networks. AODV is chosen as the best routing algorithm for MANET by IETF. It is best routing protocol in trusted environment, but in the presence of malicious node, compromised and selfish nodes several attacks can be launched against AODV, as there is no proper security to its routing information This paper is proposing security mechanism to protect the routing information of AODV. The security mechanism is using digital signature (MAC) and hash chain to the routing information. In hash chain a secure MD-5 algorithm is used. The proposed method is compared with the basic AODV routing protocol and proven to be the best. The analysis can be done using NS2 or GloMoSim network simulating tools. In this paper NS-2 is used.

Design and Characterization of Microstrip Impatt Oscillator
MANIDIPA NATH AIACTR
Abstract: In this work An IMPATT oscillator circuit at Ka band has been designed using inverted microstrip circuit. The Design of the oscillator consist of an active element(IMPATT) which converts dc power to RF power and a passive element with the electronic circuits for dc bias for the device to operate, providing the em enviroment at the device terminal to initiate oscillation and optimizes the oscillators output power and efficiency. The observed frequency of oscillation is 36.4 GHz with a maximum output 0f 1.472 mW.
DESIGN Design of Microstrip Impatt Oscillator- Microstrip oscillator circuit generally consist of an impedance matching network and a resonant circuit for stabilizing the oscillations. The resonant circuit can be a metal resonant cap (1), Impatt diode resonant line section(2) or a dielectric resonator(3), resonant cap mounting of Impatt diodes for oscillations in one of the simple low cost techniques. The active devices used here was a GaAs IMPATT diode with its frequency of operation in the Ka band. The diode specifications are listed below Diode part number-IMPATT F14-DI-350-420, Maximum Current- 200mA, Output power 511 mW, Oparating frequency 35.2 GHz. The details of the substrate used are given below. Material : RT duriod 5880, Permittivity : 2.2, Tan : 0.0009,Thickness : 10 mil The 10 mil substrate is chosen considering mounting of the diode. As seen from the case style of the diode, with a 10 mil (0.254 mm) substrate the diode chip can easily be mounted on the substrate and will be flushed with the substrate, giving a smooth surface finish. Inverted microstrip line has been chosen due to following advantages, Inverted microstrip lines achieve a lower loss (or higher Q) than possible with microstrip line. Further this lines have a much lower effective dielectric constant (compared with that of a microstrip line), and performance being less sensitive to dimensional tolerances at high frequencies.Further the wide range of impedance values achievable using these lines makes them particularly suitable in realizing filters. The inverted microstrip retains the advantage of the suspended microstrip in terms of achieving larger strip dimensions and lower dissipative losses. Furthermore it reduces the radiation loss in contrast to that in an open suspended microstrip. The resonator should be designed so that it matches the diode impedance and it should not radiate rather than guide the power to 50 line. Using PCADD (software package) and Microfil (standard line length calculator) and considering the effective dielectric constant to be 1.01 for inverted configuration, the dimensions of the oscillator circuits are shown in Table I.
Table I Dimension of Oscillator Circuits Resonator section Taper section Radius of the resonator 4.09 mm Initial Width 4.96 mm Length 0f 20 line 4.41 mm Final Width 1.56 mm Width of 20 line 4.96 mm Length 2.24 mm Gap for surface mount capacitor 0.3 mm. Low pass filter Length of 50 line 3.0 mm Width of I st section 1.5 mm Width of 50 line 1.56 mm Width of 2nd section 2.4 mm

Abstract: Data mining is an important technology for extracting useful knowledge hidden in large collections of data. Privacy is a main issue in Data mining. The former is an unintentional or planned admission of a user profile or activity data as part of the output of a data mining algorithm or as a result of data sharing. For this reason, privacy preserving data mining has been introduced to trade-off the utility of the resulting data for protecting individual privacy. Along with privacy, discrimination is a very important issue when considering the legal and ethical aspects of data mining. Automated data collection and data mining techniques such as classification rule mining have covered the way to making automated decisions, like loan granting, insurance premium computation, etc. If the training data sets are unfair in what regards discriminatory (sensitive) attributes like age, race, gender, religion, etc., discriminatory decisions may proceed. For this basis, antidiscrimination techniques including discrimination discovery and prevention have been introduced in data mining. To solve such problems there are some algorithms presented by various authors worldwide. The primary goal of this survey paper is to understand the existing prevention techniques and to achieve efficiency.

Abstract: With the development technology data hiding has become an important issue. To improve the quality of videos embedded by data, the paper deals with data hiding in motion vectors of compressed video. Data is embedded in different frames of video. The transmitted data gets repeatedly embedded in motion vectors of the frames selected for processing. A threshold value is set for the motion vectors to achieve robustness while maintaining low error level. Secrete data gets embedded in the least significant bit of the motion vectors. While data extraction processing of video takes place frame by frame ,here original video is not required while extracting. Based on the aforementioned criteria and due to exploitation of spatial and temporal redundancies this method provides enhanced compression making the coefficients perturbation difficult to predict along with large embedding capacity.

Abstract: The multimodal medical image fusion is an important application in many medical applications. This is used for the retrieval of complementary information from medical images. The MRI and CT image provides high resolution images with structural and anatomical information. The CT image is used in tumour and anatomical detection and MRI is used to obtain information among tissues. In this paper, we have proposed a new approach of multimodal medical image fusion on Daubechies wavelet transform coefficients. The fusion process starts with comparison of block wise standard deviation values of the coefficients. Here the standard deviation can be used to characterize the local variations within the block. The performance of proposed image fusion method is compared with existing algorithms and evaluated with mutual information between input and output images, entropy, standard deviation, fusion factor metrics. .

Abstract: The traditional routing techniques are geographic routing which has been proven to be more suitable for the highly mobile environments like VANETs; it’s so because of the enhanced scalability and the feasibility. Vehicular ad hoc network have a key issue hindering implementation of the message dissemination standard in the wireless access in vehicular environments. Currently single path routing protocol for VANET is performed and, In this project we are going to propose a multipath routing protocol for VANET named Fast Restoration On demand Multipath Routing (FROMR). It focuses on rapidly building on alternate path if the original route is broken. In our study, and simulation conducted to evaluate the efficiency an efficacy of the proposed solution. Our results shows FROMR can provide the higher packet delivery ratio in multiple path routing protocol with comparable latency to other geographic routing schemes.

AKHIL P V, JYOTSNA E, DIVYA JOHN PG Student, Department of Computer Science, FISAT, Angamaly, India PG Student, Department of Computer Science, FISAT, Angamaly, India Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, FISAT, Angamaly, India
Abstract: This paper proposes a new improved steganographic technique based on pixel pair matching which is driven by spatial frequency and luminance masking. The cover image is scanned using a spatial frequency and luminance mask and the result is used as the candidate region to perform data hiding using pixel pair matching. The basic idea of pixel pair matching (PPM) is to use the value of a pixel pair as a reference coordinate, and search a coordinate in the neighbourhood set of this pixel pair according to a given message digit. The pixel pair is then replaced by the searched coordinate to conceal the digit. In contrast to the existing methods based on PPM, the masking driven approach has lower distortion for various payloads. Experimental results reveal that the proposed method provides better performance than the existing techniques and also is secure under some well-known steganalysis techniques.

Abstract: Speech based emotion recognition has its utility in the real world applications. Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) is used to achieve it. This model is used to train dataset required for the task and suitable for recognizing speech based emotions. GMM makes use of Exception Maximization (EM) algorithm for estimation maximum likelihood of parameters. Based on the GMM model, conditional probabilities are computed for data points which are not known priori. To extract emotional features from the speech Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCCs) method is used. The parameters used for this include vocal tract functions, spectra and pitch formants. In this paper we build a prototype application to demonstrate the concept of speech based emotion recognition. The empirical results revealed that the proposed application is effective.

Abstract: The quality of food products is very important for the human health. The large population and the increased requirements of food products makes it difficult to arrive the desired quality. Sorting tons of fruits and vegetables manually is a slow , costly, and an inaccurate process. In this research a vision-based sorting system is developed to increase the quality of food products. The sorting process depends on capturing the image of the fruit or product and analyzing this image to discard defected products. Signals are send via computer interfacing cards to control sorting gates. Four different systems for different food products have been developed namely, apples , tomatoes, eggs , and lemons. A dataset of 1000 images is used to train and test the vision systems (250 images for each product). An accuracy of 97% with speed up to 200 images/minute has been achieved.
